Why Are Twenty Million People Depressed In The United States?
Twenty million people are depressed in the United States alone! Many have lost hope not only in themselves, but in the American Dream. Thoughts of suicide fill their days because of the dread of living yet another day of unhappiness.
Why is this happening? Why are people melting away under clouds of hopelessness and fear? Why are they feeling rejected and despised? Why does all the depression medicine in the world seem to be unable to give these people relief?
What if our world was a game? What if depression and all suffering was brought on by our failure to understand the rules of how to engage in this life game and win? If this is the case, then not being aware that we are in a battle is not understanding how to fight!
Now lets look at this world as if it were a game. As human beings we think about everything. We use our brain in life, school, work, and of course play.
If we are in a huge multifaceted game, then shouldn’t our brain be the very center of play? This is where an anomaly is born. Scientist’s have said that as human beings we only use 10 percent of our brains. If this is true, what is the purpose of the other 90 percent?
Our brain is our navigation center. While our physical world needs just 10 percent of our brain, our life game needs the other 90 percent to aid us in navigating through this world.
Our brain is where we struggle with opposing forces of good and evil. This is where Reason is stored. Reason that gives clear definitions between what is love and what is hate. This is the explanation of why this area of our brain exists.
We must believe in God or we must believe in Satan. God is love and helps us by giving us the information we need in order to win our life game. While Satan is the great deceiver, who wants to draw us into temptations that are meant to defeat us and trap us.
Sin is the ultimate evil. Sin is not knowing God. Sin defeats God’s plan for our lives. The world is the playing field and when we give ourselves to the world then we give ourselves to Satan. Satan is the god of this world and he wants us to fail to achieve God’s goals for our lives.
The Spirit world is the unseen world that functions primarily in our head. Our Spirit guide actively pursues our thoughts and reveals our motives for the things we do in this world.
To be on God’s side is to listen to the voice that tells us to care about other people. The voice that inspires us to love our families and to care about people who are suffering in the world.
To be on the side of Satan is to listen to the voice that demands that we give into the evil passions of this world. The voice that makes us over indulge in alcohol, drugs, and sexual sins of all kinds that are meant to hurt and control other people.
Our third voice is our human desires that direct us to pursue life goals that are found in power, possessions and wealth. It is our human voice of Reason that listens to the spirit world and chooses which side it will follow.
Love gives a person strength and directs them down paths of revelation, while hate makes a person just think of themselves. Love gives our lives purpose because we desire to do good. Hate tells us to take advantage of our fellowman and to do whatever it takes to get what we want.
Depression stops us in our tracks and is a tool used by Satan to keep us from loving and caring. Depression deceives us into thinking that we can’t win.
Depression separates us from God. As a result it causes a condition called “Separation Anxiety” that is meant to keep us in the world and away from God.
Separation Anxiety is the result of us trying to win our game of life in the dark. It is a blindness that stops us from coming to a full knowledge of our purpose when we have God in our lives. It is the root cause of depression.
To see our world as a complex game is to understand the 90 percent of our brain that scientists have yet to figure out. We must acknowledge the spiritual voices of good and evil and control how we listen to them.
We must come to revelations about the function of our brain and learn to listen to the voice of God. We must allow God to direct our lives and use the Bible as a tool to lead us to truth.
Truth is being aware of the game of life and the revelation that depression is a demon that is sent to defeat us by Satan. We must cling to God and allow love to influence our thinking so we can win the greatest Game of them all.

I Won The Lottery
I couldn’t breath, words were not coming out of my mouth. I silently read the numbers again, and again. Everything matched, I won the 3 million dollar lottery.
Fame, fortune, the American Dream! It all happened in the blink of an eye. I had achieved what everyone only dreams of. I have everything I want. I could finally relax for I had attained my life purpose. Or did I?
As a youth I was brought up to believe in the American dream. An image of a stately house with a white picket fence surrounding a yard with children playing gleefully under my watchful, motherly eye of protection.
A life that reflected a faith that shone brightly with service to the local Baptist church. A life proving my love for God and my choice to be an example for all those who would come to know Him through me.
I was in the midst of an imaginary world. This was not God’s will for my life. He had a plan to teach me things that I would not have understood if I hadn’t changed the path that I was traveling.
The Spirit took my ignorance about God and changed it into a new light of understanding. This knowledge pitted me against my family, church and friends. For now instead of loving a man I was in love with a woman.
The drama that proceeded from my change was startling. The house that I built with my husband crumbled, as if its foundation was on sand.
And a new structure took its place, built on understanding the difference between light which stands for truth and knowledge and darkness which stands for evil and sin.
God built this new house on a feeling that expressed itself in love. He changed my thinking and helped me to see. The light of a new dawn braking forth and suddenly I was transformed by a teacher that was talking inside of me.
My new teacher was the Holy Spirit, who took me through the trials of life and gave me a new understanding. Jesus Christ spoke to my heart and trained me in the battleground of the world.
Now I could no longer attain the same kind of life I had before. Now I had to learn lessons of rejection and misunderstanding. I learned to lean on God for support and guidance and no longer on man.
Matthew 10:34-39, “Do not think that I have come to bring peace to the world. No, I did not come to bring peace, but a sword. I came to set sons against their fathers, daughters against their mothers, daughters-in-law against their mothers-in-law; a man’s worst enemies will be the members of his own family.
Whoever loves his father or mother more than me is not fit to be my disciple; whoever loves his son or daughter more than me is not fit to be my disciple. Whoever does not take up his cross and follow in my steps is not fit to be my disciple. Whoever tries to gain his own life will lose it; but whoever loses his life for my sake will gain it.”
I ate and drank these words holding with all of my might to the Almighty God. I held so tight that my Bible became worn and tattered. I prayed until a glimmer of light opened my mind to a new way of looking at life.
In order to follow God I had to trust Him completely and I had to let go even of those who I was close to. When I let go of how the world sees family then I gained the knowledge that I needed to understand why following God would lead me down paths that would bring meaning to the purpose for my life.
These scriptures are terrifying when you live in this world the way we are taught to live. But they are also freeing when we don’t have the constant pressure of conforming to our families standard of living.
When we let go of what others demand are important to this life a bright light of understanding opens up and helps us to let go of this world. Letting go of my life and giving into God’s plan changed me.
It is important to understand that change is God’s way of getting our attention away from conforming to the standards of this world. God desires for us to understand truth, but in order to do that we must depend on Him to see us through the battles we will face.
I had no idea that what brought me the most pain was the very thing that would save my life. Before I thought our world was a safe place to live and raise a family. Now I understood what seemed to be good according to the teachings of the church leaders turns out to be completely wrong to how God wanted me to lead my life.
God’s light of understanding awakened in me a purpose that I never had before. A desire to teach others that they were wrong about lifestyles and the real purpose of living life in this world.
A rich young man came to Jesus and stated that from his youth he had obeyed all of God’s commandments. He then asked Jesus what else did he need to do.
Matthew 20:21-24, “Jesus said to him, ‘If you want to be perfect, go and sell all you have and give the money to the poor, and you will have riches in heaven; then come and follow me.’
When the young man heard this, he went away sad, because he was very rich.
Jesus then said to his disciples, ‘I assure you: it will be very hard for rich people to enter the Kingdom of heaven. I repeat; it is much harder for a rich person to enter the Kingdom of God than for a camel to go through the eye of a needle.’”
If we believe Jesus is the light of the world, then we would have to understand that these scripture proves that the American Dream is wrong. We are not here to have everything we want. We are here to live our lives for what we can get from having money.
Now, I know you’re wondering what I did with my lottery money. The truth is, I didn’t win any money, but I did win the lottery. I lost everything, my friends, my family, my church, even my identity.
Yet through the lost of things of this world I gained a Spiritual wisdom. A knowledge that awakened in me my life purpose. A truth that revealed a better plan for my life through holding fast to God.
Through time, God has rewarded me, I have a firm foundation in Jesus Christ. I have no contact with my brothers or sister, but I have three children and six grandchildren that make each day of my life exciting.
I may not have a lot of money, but I never give up because I know that God has all the money in the world and He is able to meet my needs. Finding God in a world that is so greedy is winning the Lottery!

Sound The Battle Cry
The winds blew hard and swirled the last small leaves into the wintry air. The barren branches of each tree stood unaffected as a dove flew quietly in and deposited an urgent message from the King of Kings.
A message of love and peace on earth rang through the forest. Ending with thoughtful words of warning pleading to all who would listen and to all who can hear the voice of God.
My hands grew hot from the presence of the Spirit within me. Anticipating every word from the Lord I began waiting, listening, and yearning for every whisper of God’s loving voice.
Pay attention all who can hear this message from the Almighty God!
My heart pounded and my blood pressure rose as the message became utterly clear that a battle was brewing up in the unseen heavenly kingdom to test all mankind on the earth. A test so great that if God’s people aren’t listening they will surely fail to endure the pain and suffering that will come into their lives.
Satan was already waging a fierce battle against all God’s Angels preventing them from coming to the aid of His children. Satan and his angels were releasing a storm of evil with such great magnitude that a third of all people would certainly be annihilated.
I fell to my knees and beseeched God to hear my prayers for His children. I asked Him to rouse His prayer warriors to join my pleads and for Him to send a mighty fortress of His warring Angels to protect us from Satan’s evil intentions.
The Spirit Dove once again flew in with a message of love and quickly retreated leaving in its shadow a terrifying thought confirming my worst fears. Christians have become complacent and have stopped listening to the whisper of God.
The words of God came flooding back into my mind reminding me of how many times He told me to “Pray for protection from Satan”. When we pray, we defeat the devils evil plans, but when we don’t pray protection we are vulnerable to the attacks of Satan.
The voice of the Holy Spirit rang out again warning of the impending disaster. The battle between good and evil was raging as the pendulum began swaying in the devils favor.
The good people of the world are happy and content in their lives. They have stopped praying, they have stopped caring, and the devil has been given the freedom to wage a war of epic proportion. A war of storms, earthquakes, and all forms of natural disasters. A war of sickness and cancer that will affect all of the earth’s children. A battle between countries and nations and evil leaders who desire influence and power.
I ran to my computer and sounded the cry for all of God’s children to fall on their knees and pray. I pleaded and begged sending article after article beseeching all who will listen and hear His voice of warning. Take up your Bibles! Arm yourself with prayer! Fight on the side of love! Stand strong in the strength of the Lord and aid your fellow Christians in their battle for God.
Ephesians 6:11&12, “Put on all the armor that God gives you, so that you will be able to stand up against the Devil’s evil tricks. For we are not fighting against human beings but against the wicked spiritual forces in the heavenly world, the rulers, authorities, and cosmic powers of this dark age.”
Our world is a battlefield of unseen cosmic powers preying on all people who have not chosen a side. A force so horrific that all who are not listening will surely lose the battle and die.
Ephesians 6:14-17, “So stand ready, with truth as a belt tight around your waist, with righteousness as your breastplate, and as your shoes the readiness to announce the Good News of peace. At all times carry faith as a shield; for with it you will be able to put out all the burning arrows shot by the Evil One. And accept salvation as a helmet, and the word of God as the sword which the Spirit gives you.”
I was like a watchman on the tower shouting the battle cry for all God’s Christian soldiers to put on their armor now and fight for the Lord. Listen to God’s message.
To my amazement a new message came flying on the wings of a dove excitedly proclaiming that God’s Children were listening and they were fighting for God. The Spirit of God announced that the Internet Christian soldiers were fighting the battle and spreading the message of Jesus to every corner of the earth.
The Internet Christians are God’s watchman and their prayers are resounding as they alert the whole world to Satan’s plan for the earth. They are reading their Bibles and praying for their brothers and sisters to win our world for Jesus Christ!
Ephesians 6: 18, “Do all this in prayer, asking for God’s help. Pray on every occasion, as the Spirit leads. For this reason keep alert and never give up; pray always for all God’s people.”
My fears subsided and I let out a breath of relief! Now I knew I wasn’t alone hammering the computer keyboard while hoping and praying that God’s children would hear the whisper of God’s loving voice.
The great pendulum of the world that measures the invisible spiritual battle began to sway back to God’s favor. Allowing the Angels of God to fly down upon the world like swarms of butterflies filled with the sweet nectar of victory.
Thanks to my Internet warrior partners and their prayers another battle for God has been won! Have a very Happy New Year and keep fighting for the Lord!

Abundance and Prosperity is Your Choice
So many people are tormented by fear and don’t realize how negative thinking affects them. They build a prison for themselves with suggestions of limitation, incapacity, and unworthiness. They don’t think of succeeding, but of how they will fail.
It’s been said that a person does not get want they want, but what they picture. It’s those dominate thoughts that are being attracted to you, not your greatest dreams. So, the way to attract the things you desire is to hold a mental picture of what you want as long as possible, and as often as possible. Feel that you already have what you desire with certainty and you will see it become manifested in your life.
It’s a simple concept, and it’s true. It’s just not easy. It’s not easy because we are bombarded daily with all kinds of negative thoughts, and then we are forced to decide what to do with them after they’ve entered our minds.
There is just no way a person can enjoy life to it’s full with a head full of negative thoughts. The will of God is abundance, prosperity, blessings, peace, joy, and righteousness. Thoughts of fear, worry, dread, and poverty are in direct opposite to God’s plan. In fact, they are the devil’s plan.
2 Corinthians 4:4 says, Satan has become the god of this world, and it’s his will to completely destroy us. But, God has put limits on the devil. He cannot cross the blood line. Therefore, the main way he disrupts people’s lives is by planting suggestive thoughts in their heads, causing them all kinds of grief.
He is not just going to sit by and watch as you become outrageously blessed. The reason is because he hates God. And, since he can not hinder God in any way, the best he can do is hinder God’s most beloved possession - you!
As Christians, we are just passing through and we must be like Jesus, completely focused on our mission. And, that mission is pursuing the purpose God put in each of us. Too many Christians are confused because they do not have a clue as to why they are here.
You must absolutely know where you are headed in life and have a fixed goal in view before you’ll ever attain what you’re after.
You must be definite on what it is that you desire and not consistently changing your mind according to your moods on any given day. James 1:6-8 says, “Let him ask in faith with no doubting, for he who doubts is like a wave of the sea driven and tossed by the wind. Let not that man suppose that he will receive anything from the Lord, for he is a double-minded man, and unstable in all his ways.”
Many people go through the lip-service act of saying their prayers without the slightest belief that those prayers will be answered. Consequently, they are not answered, and the same people will scratch their head and wonder why God is not answering their prayers.
Jesus said, “According to your faith, let it be done unto you” (Matt 9:29). How can anything positive “be done unto you” if you are not exercising your faith in what you desire?
If you’re frustrated and tired of going around the same mountain of problems day after day, then ask yourself some serious questions:
1) “Do I know God’s will for my life, or do I not have a clue what He’s created me for?”
2) “Do I have direction, or am I just wandering around
aimlessly?”
3) “Do I know exactly what I want and how I’m going to get there, or do I just wait and see what’s going to happen?”
4) “Do I have goals, and if so, are they written down?”
5) “Am I confessing what God’s Word says about me daily, or do I even know any of God’s Word?”
You are created with a purpose! You may say, “I know, but I don’t know what my purpose is.” If that’s what you are saying, the devil has successfully faked you out.
God has a purpose for each person and I believe your purpose is in your interests! You will never be ultimately successful doing something you do not enjoy.
Is your work “just a job,” or do you truly enjoy it? Ecclesiastes 2:24 says, “Nothing is better for a man than that he should eat and drink, and that his soul should enjoy good in his labor.”
So, ask yourself what it is that you like to do? Once you discover it, then do it. Ecclesiastes 9:10 says, “Whatever your hand finds to do, do it with all your might.”
It is vital that you know God’s will for your life. Things that are not God’s will for you get frustrating. They don’t manifest positive results because they are not part of God’s plan. In those cases you must be honest with yourself and stop pursuing those things.
But, if you know with all your heart that God has spoken something to you, then you must pursue it with everything you’ve got. But again, you will only be able to pursue it with everything you’ve got by first controlling and directing your thoughts.
It’s a decision you make concerning what you think about. So whether you think success, or failure, that’s what you will eventually reap. Without directed thought aimed at your purpose, and goals in writing, you are like the proverbial “ship without a rudder,” wandering everywhere while going nowhere (remember James 1:6-8).
Because our thoughts are vibrating energy, we create what we want by focusing our thoughts on those things. So, a big mistake is trying to figure out how you are going to do something before you do it. Start by believing you can do it and the “how-to” will follow, for strong belief triggers the mind to figuring the ways and the means.
Remember, faith without works is dead (James 2:20). You’re simply not committed until you take action. Think positive thoughts, come up with ideas, seek advice from Godly people who are on the same page, spend time with God and seek His council.
Within you right now is the power to do things you never dreamed possible. This power becomes available to you just as soon as you change your beliefs by eliminating thoughts of limitation, incapacity, and unworthiness. Remember, you do not get want you want, but what you picture.

I Made My New Years Resolutions
The crystal ball rose and the fireworks exploded welcoming a brand new year. Excitement filled the air with the expectations of fulfilling every pledge I made to do things better than the year before.
This year it was going to be different! A new house, a promise of a promotion at my job and of course an exercise program to shed the extra pounds. Everything was in place. I was energized and full of anticipation of making it the best year ever.
Night fell and the work week began. A rumor began buzzing around the office that the boss was bringing in new management. Immediately I walked nervously to my desk wondering how this could happen to me!
At lunch I needed a hamburger and French fries. I knew I was breaking my promised diet, but I was afraid for my job and I needed comfort food.
The work day ended and I walked into my house with a feeling of fear wrapping around me and motioning me to run for the remote control and stare into the big screen television. The sound fell on deaf ears and my mind exploded into thoughts over the sudden turn of events.
I glanced at my table where the brochures lay highlighting the house of my dreams and I began to cry. God, why are you letting this happen to me? I reached for my dusty Bible and it fell open to Revelations.
Revelation 3: 14b-16, “This is the message from the Amen, the faithful and true witness, who is the origin of all that God has created. I know what you have done; I know that you are neither cold nor hot. How I wish you were either one or the other! But because you are lukewarm, neither hot nor cold, I am going to spit you out of my mouth!”
The words I read were startling. I didn’t understand why God would want me to see this particular passage. I believed in God. I was a Christian. I had memorized the Bible as a child and I attended church faithfully.
As I justified myself before God a voice whispered “Keep Reading”. My eyes once again took in the next verse and then the next.
Revelation 3:17-19, “You say, ‘I am rich and well off; I have all I need.’ But you do not know how miserable and pitiful you are! You are poor, naked, and blind. I advise you, then, to buy gold from me, pure gold, in order to be rich. Buy also some ointment to put on your eyes, so that you may see. I rebuke and punish all whom I love. Be in earnest, then, and turn from your sins.”
I haven’t sinned! I deserve that promotion and I need a new house. God what are you saying to me? I practice my faith. Let’s face it God, I can’t buy gold from you, I have to work for it!
The whisper was calm and loving. It was if I was being given a choice of which path I would choose. A path to gain all the riches found in this world or a path that would take me on a spiritual journey of revelation.
I don’t understand what your saying to me God. I have a plan! This year I am going to be successful and I am going to purchase the house I always wanted. I know that it may seem bleak at the moment, but I believe you are going to help me do this.
The quiet whisper softly prodded me forward to pick up my Bible and read some more. I obeyed. I wanted to understand what kind of gold God could give me. Is this gold better than my New Years plan?
Revelations 3: 20-22, “Listen! I stand at the door and knock; if anyone hears my voice and opens the door, I will come into his house and eat with him, and he will eat with me. To those who win the victory I will give the right to sit beside me on my throne, just as I have been victorious and now sit by my Father on his throne.
‘If you have ears, then, listen to what the Spirit says to the churches!’”
A flood of thoughts lovingly filled my being. They persuaded me to look at my life completely different.
For weeks I had made my plans and designed my path so I could fulfill my desires for my life. Now God was telling me to think about these choices.
I had become so wrapped up in my plan that I had stopped growing in my spiritual life. I had put God aside and I only read my Bible and prayed when I was in trouble.
I wasn’t playing my game of life to win the world for God and good. I was becoming self serving and I was trading my Christian identity for the things I could gain from this world.
I needed to get a grip and remember that my life’s purpose isn’t about things, but about Spiritual gold found in serving God. I grabbed a piece a paper and began a new list.
My newly revised New Years pledge. I would pray more and read my Bible daily. I would ask God to show me how I can serve Him better. I will pray for the people who have needs in my church. I will volunteer at the homeless shelter and give more in my tithe.
The fear that once engulfed me subsided! I began to breathe deeply once again renewed in my faith and determined that with God I would win this world for Him.
My boss held out his hand to welcome me into his office. To my surprise he stated that he wanted me to head the new management team. He said he noticed how hard I worked and he trusted that I would do a good job.
At the end of the day, I left the office Praising God. His whisper filled my thoughts. His love wrapped around me and let me know that I was His again and He was proud of me.
My own thoughts cherished God’s words and made me even more determined to win my race in this world as God’s Christian Soldier. I would do my work not for what I would gain, but for what I could give.

Get Abundance and Prosperity By Being a Blessing
We cannot be blessed without first being a blessing. We are to keep God first in our lives, then people second, and then ourselves last. Only in this order can we be a blessing and be blessed ourselves.
When Jesus said, “Ask the Father anything in My name and He will give it to you” (John 16:23), He did not intend for this to be a license to treat God as some cosmic bell-boy who should come and cater to our every whim.
When Jesus said, “Ask the Father anything in My name,” He meant that you should ask according to His will. Unless you ask according to His will your prayers will be ineffective. James 4:3 says, “You ask and do not receive because you ask amiss, that you may consume it upon your own lusts.”
So, how do we ask according to His will, have our prayers answered, and be successful? The answer is, by abiding in Him.
Jesus said, “Abide in me, and I will abide in you. As the branch cannot bear fruit of itself, except it abides in the vine; no more can you, except you abide in me. I am the vine, you are the branches. He that abides in me, and I in him, the same brings forth much fruit: for without me you can do nothing” (John 15:4-5).
The meaning of the word “abide,” means “to live” or “to dwell.” So, when Jesus said, “Abide in Me,” He meant that we are to submit to Him and let Him have full reign in our lives, allowing Him to lead. Since Jesus Christ and the Word of God are one in the same (John 1:14), when we abide in Christ, we abide in the Word.
When we abide in the Word, we are allowing God to instruct us and teach us in the way we should go (Psalm 32:8). He will also guide us to pray according to His will, and then our prayers will have a guaranteed effect.
Again, we cannot be blessed without first being a blessing. So remember, you are created unique with different characteristics, skills, and abilities. These gifts are then to be used to minister to, meet the needs of, and bless other people. When you use them for what they are meant for, you will then be ultimately blessed.

Will Our Collective Ignorance Kill Us?
With three pounds of matter, called the brain, the human race has gained complete dominion over all of life on this planet. It has discovered the raw power of steam and used it to create the industrial revolution. It has discovered the raw power of splitting the atom and used it to create its own nightmare. It has discovered how to prolong and improve human life and this will result in a population explosion, where the rate of the human race doubles every forty years. Ironically, the great gift of humankind, superlative intelligence, may be the cause of its demise.
The solution, paradoxically, is more intelligence. Intelligence has to move from the few to the many. Literally, a new race has to emerge to keep civilization, even earth life as a whole, alive past this century.
The analogy often used is that most people are asleep, while others, those who are noticing the collapse of the environment and the coming storm, are said to be awakening. What does this really mean?
Perhaps, it means that most people, stuck in habituated or conditioned thought, are not capable of rising to a place where they can contribute anything more than resistance to the idea of the change that needs to happen.
Another analogy might work better.
The Internet is an artificial global brain. Theoretically, it allows anyone to contact anyone else. Those who use this medium to learn and communicate are “online.” They are part of the aggregate of humanity that can share a community.
The rest of the world, either due to lack of interest or insufficient economic resources, are living in a more local environment. They are said to be “offline.” They only know and communicate based on immediate stimulation.
As you can imagine, there is a huge disparity between the two populations. Those online have any kind of information available to them literally at their fingertips. Those offline have very little information to work on. The result is a growing disparity between the human race. Those who are informed and those who are not.
Similarly, in regards to the human race, only a small number are even aware that the world as a whole is in jeopardy. They have a poor knowledge of history, and do not realize how fortunate humanity was to have survived the dictators and the escalation of raw military power that emerged in the past century. They also have a poor knowledge of science, and do not realize that there is enough raw power to blow up the world eleven times over. Finally, they have a poor knowledge of social issues, ranging from pollution to self-seeking political and economic organizations.
The reason that they do not have this knowledge is because they do not think it is important. In many cases, too, they may not have access to this knowledge. In the past, the general ignorance of the masses did not matter that much. This was because there was never such a pressing need to create worldwide consensus on many issues, there was never a pressing need to reorganize and reprioritize human interests, and there was never the open possibility of general ignorance becoming deadly.
While it is not necessary to become a savant; it is necessary to become more intelligent, which means less conditioned, less ill-informed, less self-oriented, and less apathetic. A critical mass of intelligent people is necessary before the tide turns. Compassion and genius will not flourish in an atmosphere of indifference and confusion.
How can we make the upgrading of intelligence an important agenda for human beings?
We can improve the quality of all our media presentations, from print media to Television to Radio to movies to be less focused on trivial entertainment and more on providing meaningful messages. We can upgrade the educational institutions all over the world, from the model that is currently operating, which is still based on the ideas of the industrial revolution. And we can take individual responsibility and try to read more, understand more, communicate more.

The lighthouse of God shone brightly beckoning all who would see the light to listen to His words of wisdom. Follow the light of Jesus and it will open up a world to you that you would never have understood before you allowed your heart to understand the secrets God is ready to reveal.
As a small child I was given a burgundy book of Bible stories by my grandmother. At the time I couldn’t read, but the pictures set my imagination into action and confronted me with questions.
Looking intently at my book I saw three men hung on crosses. One stood out from the rest, because in His pain and suffering, He looked like His death had a purpose.
I asked my grandmother who this person was and she responded, Jesus the Savior of the world. Immediately I asked, “why would they hang Jesus on the cross?” My grandmother said it was God’s will that He die for the sin of all people. I would stare at the Lord’s picture and wonder how this could be God’s will.
Turning the page, a cave with a stone rolled away suddenly appeared, changing my feelings of sadness for this man into joy. The man stood among angels, dressed all in white, looking thoughtful and smiling as if He held a secret that I wanted to understand.
I could not have been more than three when I looked at this book for the first time, yet in my heart I believed that Jesus was my Savior. I felt a deep connection as if I had known this man before I was ever born.
As a child I found God in my world through my family, church and books. I sought Him as I grew and developed in the trials of the world. But today many people have lost touch with their connection to the spiritual part of our world.
People are living life with no God at all. They feel empty as if they are lost and unable to find the meaning to their existence.
To not have God in your life is to lose your purpose. It is to cut off the intuition of your thinking and just see the grass and the trees. It’s walking through this world and only seeing people without really knowing them.
When you don’t read your Bible and when you don’t seek the meaning to your life then you just exist. You have no understanding and you gain nothing when bad or good things happen to you and so you feel empty and abandoned.
This is the reason why you need to understand that this world is more than what you see. It is a huge, unseen spiritual game of life that takes a player through life situations for their development.
God gave us life so we would be raised up by the things we learn in this world. He is our Father and creator of the great game of life. A life game that requires us to find Him and remain in Him so we can win.
As we play our game we change and become mature people. This is the reason that we must expand our Biblical teaching through more than going to church. We must have a real relationship with our Father. We must pray! We must cling to every aspect of our spiritual purpose so we can achieve the spiritual goals that have been appointed to our life.
Proverbs 8:1-5, “Listen! Wisdom is calling out. Reason is making herself heard. On the hilltops near the road and at the crossroads she stands. At the entrance to the city, beside the gates, she calls: ‘I appeal to you, mankind; I call to everyone on earth. Are you immature? Learn to be Mature. Are you foolish? Learn to have sense.’”
When I was a child my belief in God expanded my world by the thoughts the pictures provoked within me. Now that I am older I understand my need to be dependent to the man in the picture. God showed me through the world, through spiritual writings and through life experiences, wisdom.
Solomon was the wisest king in the history of Israel. He prayed that God would give him knowledge so he could rule his kingdom with wisdom. God granted this gift to him and he wrote down what God personally taught him in Proverbs.
Proverbs 8:11-14, “I am Wisdom, I am better than jewels; nothing you want can compare with me. I am Wisdom, and I have insight; I have knowledge and sound judgment. To honor the Lord is to hate evil; I hate pride and arrogance, evil ways and false words. I make plans and carry them out. I have understanding, and I am strong.”
God takes our lives and molds them through our desire to walk with Him and know His ways. God wants us to be kind people that radiate His love in a world of evil and hateful people.
In the very beginning of time, God explained to Cain that he had to master sin. Cain refused to listen to God and he killed his brother Abel. His choices made him the father of all those who do evil. He also became an example of what happens to a person when they leave God out of their lives.
Because we are in a life game, we are constantly tested. Tests that pull us into life situations that can lead us down paths away from God. Paths that keep us involved with the world and what the world can give us in order to keep us from understanding our life purpose.
Proverbs 8:32-36, “Now, young men, listen to me. Do as I say, and you will be happy. Listen to what you are taught. Be wise; do not neglect it. The man who listens to me will be happy- the man who stays at my door every day, waiting at the entrance to my home. The man who finds me finds life, and the Lord will be pleased with him. The man who does not find me hurts himself; anyone who hates me loves death.”
Our life purpose is to stay close to God and not get pulled into the world. We must have a real relationship with our father in order to succeed in our life.
I know from my own life experience that I am a happier person when I seek God first. I am a successful person even though situations have caused me to start my life over in this world three different times.
I am a stronger person because I depend on God and not on what I can make of myself in this world. I know that I am not full of pride because I know that everything I have experienced could not have been conquered and achieved without God’s help.
I have knowledge because of what I have suffered. I have gained wisdom because I remained close to God. I have understanding that without God I am empty and lost.
I haven’t found the book I had as a child, but I have found many good children’s Bible books. Stories full of illustrated pictures that would give my grandchildren a good beginning as they begin to understand why Jesus needs to be the light for their lives. My prayers will be for them to look up and see the lighthouse of Jesus and run to Him so they can win their game of life.

Listen, God Is Speaking
The light of Jesus hovered over the earth and ignited sparkles of stars shining onto people. The Holy Spirit lit up each sleeping mind with visions, dreams, and inspired messages.
Some of the messages fell on those who thought they were meaningless and they ignored them. Others fell on believers who vowed to follow them, but when the trials of life occurred they quickly forgot.
But there were a few messages that fell on ordinary people who took them to heart and shared them with those who would listen. I am one of those ordinary people.
The message I received radiated ideas and formed words that spurred my interest. Ideas I had never understood before. Awakening thought-provoking feelings in me I had never known.
My hands turned red and hot. My body felt like a great vibration was stirring every fiber of my being in anticipation of a word from God. My mind spoke to my consciousness as if a Spirit flew in to give me a message from the Almighty God.
Hebrews 10:16, “This is the covenant that I will make with them in the days to come, says the Lord; I will put my laws in their hearts and write them on their minds.”
When I first began to receive messages from God, they dealt strictly with my life. They were messages of encouragement and love. But every message came with a warning. Pray for protection against Satan.
As the years passed and I faced many difficult challenges with child custody to the judgment that churches place on the backs of their followers. I realized how important this prayer was and how impossible this world is when we don’t realize how great a force Satan is to our lives.
1 John 5: 19, “We know that we belong to God even though the whole world is under the rule of the Evil One.”
Satan is the ruler of this world. He has been given the freedom to influence people by demon forces that want to destroy their lives and rob them from ever having faith in God. He does this within a world game of good versus evil.
Many of today’s great spiritual leaders have become so accustomed and trained in theology and doctrine that they have become ignorant of the invisible spiritual realm that comes after people. As a result, Satan has immobilized the clergy because they are so wrapped up in manmade teachings!
When you are in a world game that involves an unseen spiritual realm that no one is acknowledging, then we are easily dominated and conquered by evil forces. Our freewill is easily influenced by evil thinking because the clergy aren’t teaching us how to defend ourselves against Satan.
People are not being taught how to listen to the Spirit of God. They don’t understand the fundamentals of defense found in the whisper of God’s voice within their being.
1 John 2:26-27, “I am writing this to you about those who are trying to deceive you. But as for you, Christ has poured out his Spirit on you. As long as his Spirit remains in you, you do not need anyone to teach you. For his Spirit teaches you about everything, and what he teaches is true, not false. Obey the Spirit’s teaching, then, and remain in union with Christ.”
Christians need to read their Bibles, pray for protection from Satan, and ask for insight from God over the problems they are facing. They must exercise their faith by being aware of the battle’s they will face in this world game.
Many Christians have a surface faith that takes them no further than believing in God and leaves the rest to the interpretation of the church. This can be a disaster, because it prevents the Holy Spirit from directly teaching a person.
God used direct messages to me in order to break the mind set I had learned from the present day church. He changed my life and made me depend on Him so I would listen to Him alone!
1 John 3:9&10, “Whoever is a child of God does not continue to sin, for God’s very nature is in him: and because God is his Father, he cannot continue to sin. Here is the clear difference between God’s children and the Devil’s children: anyone who does not do what is right or does not love his brother is not God’s child.”
God pitted me against family and church by making me gay. He made me love a woman so I would understand that love equals God! He took me out of the teachings of the church so I would seek Him and learn from Him.
What the church says is sin is not always sin! The church wants us to follow their doctrine so we will become like robots, all serving God their way. God wants us to be vessels full of the Holy Spirit who will do battle for Him against the evil workings of Satan on an individual bases.
Today I am persecuted because I tell people I am gay in what I write. Many article directories will not distribute my writings because of this declaration.
Yet God, in His wisdom, pitted me against even those who refuse to listen because of my gayness. Being gay is a small part of me, but being God’s child is all of me.
God raises us up in a evil world so we will fight for Him and love. He takes our lives and puts us into different situations in this world so we will undo the evil that Satan forces on each individual life.
1 John 5:3-5, “For our love for God means that we obey his commands. And his commands are not too hard for us, because every child of God is able to defeat the world. And we win the victory over the world by means of our faith. Who can defeat the world? Only the person who believes that Jesus is the Son of God.”
We are His Christian Soldiers. We are placed here in difficult situations so we can defeat the devil and his influence over people. As a reward we will be given an eternity of blessings for everything we have suffered.
Everything I learned about the truth was given to me through the Holy Spirit. The Spirit working within me taught me to let go of rules and regulations that are taught within the doctrine of the churches and place my faith in God and the teaching He gives me on the inside.
I would have never changed if I hadn’t learned to listen to God’s voice on my own. I would have allowed the church to keep me from loving who I was meant to love. I would have joined the world and persecuted anyone that didn’t believe the way the church taught me to believe.
1 John 5: 20-21, “We know that the Son of God has come and has given us understanding, so that we know the true God. We live in union with the true God-in union with his Son Jesus Christ. This is the true God, and this is eternal life.
My children, keep yourselves safe from false gods!”
I was raised a Baptist. I was taught all the doctrines of hate the church teaches against people. When I let go of what I was taught to believe and I allowed God to work in me I began to see.
The message beamed as the Spirit of God flew down from the unseen heavenly kingdom of God. A message so clear that I had to listen and change the way I thought.
God took all of me my feelings, my mind, and my soul, He taught me how to hear things that men can only hear from the voice of God. Listen to the Spirit and let love guide your life. Listen to the Spirit and allow faith to give you the victory over Satan and the evil world he created.

Prayer Requires Expectation
We may have heard at some point in our lives that if we truly believe in something, having faith that it will happen, then it really will happen. Some people don’t completely accept that, but the Bible is clear; what you believe is what you get. Jesus said, “Whatsoever things you desire, when you pray, believe that you receive them and you shall have them” (Mark 11:24).
But, He didn’t say we would see the manifestation of our prayers immediately. We need to give God time to work things out, continue in our faith, and not doubt, “For a man who wavers is like a wave of the sea, driven with the wind and tossed. Let not that man think that he shall receive anything of the Lord” (James 1:6-7).
Expectation is the key to receiving from Him. What good does it do to pray without expecting God to answer? You might as well be talking to a tree. The Bible says, “Without faith, it is impossible to please God, for he who comes to Him must believe that He is God, and that He is a rewarder of those who diligently seek Him” (Hebrews 11:6).
Have you noticed that most people do not expect things to work out? In fact, most people have been taught to believe in negative outcomes. The reasoning is; “If things don’t work out, I won’t be disappointed.” There’s no logic in that! Even though one may not be expecting, one still at least hopes. The fact is, crushed hopes cause disappointment.
Having faith and expecting in the positive is vital to our success. If we could only believe that everything will work out and trust that what we want will happen, we’d have great results. Life would change dramatically. But, for some reason, most people just can’t believe that things will work out for them. They look at past results and judge their future based on that past.
It’s true that future results can best be predicted by past behavior. So, if your past behavior has been to not expect in positive outcomes, then change that behavior. It doesn’t take any more effort to believe in a positive outcome than it does in a negative one.
Faith is required to receive from God, and our expectation is proof of our faith. So, if we ask God for something, but then we don’t do anything on our part to bring it to pass, we must question our faith.
God will do His part for sure, but we are required to do our part as well. What is our part? Expect! Believe it, confess it, and anything else that could possibly be done on our part, for “Faith without works is dead” (James 2:20).
So truly believe in something! Have faith that it will happen. Again, the Bible is clear; what you believe is what you get. Jesus said, “Whatsoever things you desire, when you pray, believe that you receive them and you shall have them” (Mark 11:24).
