Pregnancy and Three Strands of Faith, Hope and Love
Isn’t learning that a woman is pregnant with an unborn baby one of life’s most beautiful events? Pregnancy is a time when mom and dad share a marvelous task to bring their child into the world feeling appreciated and wanted. And this miracle starts even before conception begins.
Yes, before conception begins. Prior to the sperm cell and egg cell joining each other for a life long journey that commences in the mom’s womb. An infant’s right to life is born when parents start thinking about having a child.
A famous cellular biologist, Dr. Bruce Lipton, Ph.D, wrote an evolutionary volume, “The Biology of Belief.” In his book, Dr. Lipton contends that the parents’ love and intention before “the twinkle danced in mom’s eye” affect the well being of an unborn infant.
This is how. Researchers discovered a link between a fetus’s health and the support well being, and mood of its parents. After conception, a fetus develops and grows. The degree to which the baby develops is related to the attitudes of the parents. Positive loving attitudes - positive infant growth. Fearful, unhappy attitudes - sickly child.
An unborn baby senses the feelings, thoughts, and actions of its mother. Since a baby’s father can affect the baby’s mother through his actions, feelings and thoughts, the dad also affects how a baby develops. Scientists have shown how a baby absorb steroids like cortisol from its mother, when mom experiences high levels of fear and anxiety.
When stressful times occur, the stress hormones in the mother’s bloodstream pass right through the unborn infant. This has a negative change upon the developing body of the baby. Italian researchers observed a fetus jump inside its mother, when an argument between parents used harsh, loud words.
Every human being grows and develops the same way. An umbilical cord in the mother’s uterus connects the baby to its mom like a lifeline. Oxygen, blood, nutrients, vitamins and everything needed to grow and be healthy flow to the baby through that cord. The umbilical cord consists of three strands - two arteries and a vein, surrounded by Wharton’s jelly. Second by second, every minute, day after day for nine months, the line line of the umbilical cord connects mom and baby with health and life.
A pro life way for moms and dads to bring emotional and spiritual health to their baby is through the three strands of faith, hope and love. These virtues are a lifeline for the unborn baby’s healthy development. The three strands of hope, love, and faith help parents relate to each other better.
Faith is the first strand of the spiritual life line. Mom and dad receive the gift of faith from God. Parents unwrap this gift when they believe and trust each other and that God is present to them and their unborn infant.
Dads and moms use the second strand — hope - when they persevere and endure the nine, long months of pregnancy. Parents envision and hope their child as healthy and growing up to contribute positively to life.
The third and most important strand is love. When the parents draw upon God’s love for them, they can love each other and pass their love to their child.
Pregnancy has its difficult moments: body pain, uncertainty, changes in moods and habits. Moms and dads can work through those times by being kind to each other, finding joy in the present moment, witnessing the miracle of new life forming within them and trusting that everything will turn out well.
Moms and dads deliver the three strands of virtue to their unborn baby through a spiritual umbilical cord. The right to life of the unborn infant is healthy in emotion, mind and body. The life line of three strands of faith, hope and love connect parents and child to God and each other.

Haunted Typewriter Or God?
To my astonishment my typewriter began to move. Is this possible? I looked intently for some mechanical device that could cause such an impossible action. There was none. The typewriter clearly wrote a message, which ended in “My ways are not human ways trust in me, God has Spoken.” A message from God? I showed the message to my best friend, but all she saw was gibberish . . . But I could read it clearly. Why me?
Twenty years ago God called me. He revealed Himself to me through the life He gave me to live in this world. He opened up the flood gates of truth by explaining to me how to find Him.
I am an upholster by trade. I have been using my hands to create beautiful pieces of furniture for the past 32 years. I am in the business of serving people and meeting their household needs.
Why would God call someone like me? In the Bible we read that Amos was a farmer and David was a Shepard. Paul was a tent maker and Peter a fisherman. I guess it doesn’t matter where we begin in this world. What matters is that we are willing to listen to God and do His will!
Let me begin by telling you that God created this world and all of it’s complexities for a purpose. He created every human being and He loves everyone. God created us so we would know Him and learn from all of our differences how to be compassionate, loving and kind.
Learning how to hear God’s voice is probably the most important thing a human being must do in order to begin to understand their own life purpose. Abraham received God’s messages from Angels. They taught him how corrupt men can be when left to live in this world apart from God.
Moses heard the voice of God through a burning bush. He became Israel’s law-giver and judge. He gave the people laws to help Israel to understand the difference between right and wrong.
Samuel heard an audible voice of God as a child. A voice that would later help him to give power and might to the armies of God who defended Israel from her enemies. A promise that one man can stand against a thousand men if he follows Him
The book of Acts explains how people were filled with the Holy Spirit when they placed their faith in Jesus Christ. A Spirit that would talk to them in dreams, inspired messages, miracles, and wonders on the earth. A Spirit that would teach them on the inside all about Him. This is exactly what happened to me when I first started getting messages from God.
In order for God to get my attention He talked to me through typed messages. Yes, my typewriter did the typing on its own. The messages were geared to teach me how to listen to the Holy Spirit within me.
God’s voice was the still small voice inside my head or the flashes of ideas that crossed my mind. They manifested themselves into visions and dreams.
Hearing God’s voice alone was not enough. I had to understand which voice was God and which was the voice of evil. I had to learn to discern what I was thinking and determine which path would lead me to do what was right.
You must read the Bible in order to understand the difference between right and wrong thinking. The Bible shows us God and lets us see how evil hurts us and others. The Bible helps us to understand why we are tested so we will learn to do right.
God taught me how to listen to Him through my upholstery business. He was the idea that kept me from making a mistake as I was matching difficult fabrics. He was the expert craftsman who taught me how to be perfect at my trade.
He was my conscience making sure I did everything I promised to do in my business. If the customer ordered new foam, no matter how much money I didn’t have, I replaced the foam. I did not cheat anyone.
He showed me dishonesty through how my companies treated me. If I received the amount of fabric I ordered or if it was short a yard or more. Whether or not my foam was the same consistency that I asked for.
Everything mattered to God. He wanted me to understand the difference between doing it the way man does it or doing it the way He wanted it done. He demanded that I have integrity.
I found out very quickly by how I handled my business that God was always just, but people were not dependable. Many wanted to take advantage of me, but God taught me how to be firm and not to give up.
God became my best friend and my defender. God showed me injustice and how people ruined this world by giving into Satan and doing evil. God explained that the purpose of our world is to teach us to want good.
Following God in a corrupt world is hard. Because it is easy to get tripped up and turned down a wrong path. It is important that we learn how to pray and to trust God in faith that He will never let us down.
God’s messages made me a better person who cared about others and not just myself. He took my life and gave me a better life, because I chose to do what was right and refused to give in and cheat just because I could.
Learning how to listen to God’s voice makes our lives better and helps us win our game of life. No longer do we think just about ourselves. We live by the Golden Rule, “Do unto others as you would have them do unto you”.

Christian Business Success
Everything you need to succeed you learned in Sunday School. Christians should not be poor. The two words are not synonymous. Poverty is negative; believing in God is the most positive of reality. These two emotions cannot exist in the same mind. God promises prosperity to those who follow His guidelines.
Some Christians may have entered into a vow of poverty. But to perpetuate poverty mindset for any other reason is to engage in the worst form of self-deprivation. Helping others to be fed and clothed and find the prosperous life that God intended is more in line with Christian beliefs.
“Faith is the substance of things hoped for the evidence of things not seen.” These lines from the Bible explain why Christians should be among the wealthiest citizens of the world. God has given the Christian ultimate control over their environment. Unless poverty is the hoped for consequence of our actions, there are some thoughts that should be changed.
For some Christians the fear of prosperity is greater than the fear of poverty. Poverty is self defeating and does not enrich the soul or the community. The life of a poor person does not inspire nor benefit the world. Being prosperous through acts of kindness are far more beneficial to the world we live in.
In the book Think and Grow Rich, Napoleon Hill speaks of poverty as a self inflicted condition. “Poverty,” the author states, “is attracted to the one whose mind is favorable to it.” Poverty and riches often change places. Poverty needs no plan; it needs no one to aid it, because it is bold and ruthless. Riches are shy and timid. Riches have to be attracted.
In some religious circles there is a preoccupation to teach the prosperity principals. But these teachings are not intended to incite greed or avarice. These teachings offer a way to find personal and financial fulfillment. The drive to enhance the financial status of Christians is not only for the sake of attaining more for the person. Prosperity provides the Christian the means to be a blessing to others.
The Bible teaches us the basic tenets of prosperity and poverty. Unfortunately, some Chrisitans take the statement “and the oor will always be with us.” as a personal oath. We are not the poor that the Bible speaks about. There are third world countries that do not allow the people to engage in a business that will enrich their lives. These individuals are subjected to a life of poverty because there is no other alternative for them.
But in a country of opportunity, where everyone who has the will can attain prosperity, this statement is not intended for individuals who live in a free society. God was not speaking to Christians.
God is a powerful business partner. Knowing that God has abundance and is willing to bestow that abundance to act as an impetus to take your business activity to the next level. God works powerfully in the life of a Christian. The abundance of blessings that god is willing to bestow upon you is for you to bless others.

A Christmas Of Secrets
The snow softly fell producing mounds of glistening white newness to the surrounding houses. All things looked clean as if the snow had washed away all bleakness and allowed a new beginning.
It was Christmas time. The children were excited and the decorations were hung. The tree was all aglow and beneath its branches lay colorfully wrapped presents.
I loved this time of the year. I liked all the shopping and the searching for the perfect gift for all of my children and extended family members. I enjoyed putting out each piece of my nativity set and worshiping the birth of Jesus in my church. And I loved how each of my children took every detail in and lit up with pure joy.
When my children were small it was a tradition to go to their minister grandpa’s house and read the Christmas story. But when my life took a sudden turn everything changed about this holiday.
Now our family was mixed. A divorce can do that. It can change traditions and force children who don’t want their families to change to celebrate differently. Before, all members of my family and my husband’s family joined together to celebrate the birth of Christ.
Now Tori and I were about to start our own traditions in our new house. Tori had invited her parents to our house to celebrate Christmas day.
This was going to be a real challenge to Christmas because her parents didn’t know that I lived with her. Tori had fabricated an elaborate story surrounding her life. She was supposedly engaged to a man who was in the mafia.
A man whose identity had to be kept secret in order to protect her and her son. A story her parents demanded because they would not accept her having a relationship with another woman.
Tori had sole custody of her son because her ex-husband confessed to child abuse. Her ex had no interest in seeing his son under the supervised visitation specified by the courts. So she was Brad’s sole parent.
In the past her parents threatened to take Tori’s 5 year old child away, if they ever found out she was with me. A threat that was easily feared since I was deprived of being my three children’s custodial parent by the court system.
It was not an easy front to keep up. We had to be very careful even with how we handled work. In secret we ran an upholstery business out of our home. We advertised through a local free paper with a separate phone line for the business, never using our real names.
I worked in the basement of our house securely hidden from any sudden visits from her parents. And Tori who was a wonderful decorator sold upholstery, window treatments and even carpet.
Our upholstery and design business was growing. It was as if God reached down from heaven and blessed all our work to pay us back for all the persecutions we endured.
I was a very dedicated Christian. I was raised a Baptist who did not believe that living a homosexual lifestyle was right before God.
To drastically change my belief system and become gay, revealed yet another secret. From the moment my life began to change I began to receive secret typed messages from God.
These messages reflected God’s will for my life. They made me determined to stand up to the Religious world I had been raised to believe was absolutely the only way to worship God. They gave me strength to hold onto my faith regardless of how hard my life had become.
These secret messages helped me to believe beyond my ability to understand why the church persecuted people like me. They made me find the answers as to why homosexuality was created by God.
God captured my mind and made me depend on Him with these words because of the constant persecutions that Tori and I faced. “My Ways Are Not Human Ways, Trust in Me, Pray for protection from Satan, God Has Spoken, I love you Linda”
I clung to these words with a determination to make the best of Tori’s and my life together. During this Christmas season we would begin making our own traditions in spite of all of our secrets.
We had a two story house with a full basement. We decorated two Christmas trees, one in the master bedroom suite and one in the family room downstairs.
My children and I would quietly celebrate Christmas upstairs. To my surprise they enjoyed just spending their time with me. They loved their presents and together we read the story of the birth of Jesus.
Our house may have been filled with secrets, but our hearts were filled with the Spirit of Christmas and love. Jesus gave us a determination to be the family God wanted us to be separate from those who didn’t understand.
The day passed and the years proceeded with the secrets we held inside the walls of our home. No regrets, no turning back we found our way because we placed our trust in God.
The falling snow sparkled giving way to a brand new world igniting into light. An understanding that sacrificing our traditions are not really what’s important during the Christmas season. The most important part of Christmas is the gift of God’s Son and the love He can bring to each persons life.

Destined To Believe
The waves of the ocean caressed the sea shore bringing a glistening wake in its path. I was seven years old and all smiles as the preacher called my name and a man led me out into the water to be Baptized.
I was among fifty others who were pledging their lives to follow Jesus Christ. My best friend and I went forward in church together. And we were both excited for this day to come.
A week before the minister came to our house and informed mom of my decision. She was hesitant until I appeared in front of them all and proclaimed that I wanted to be baptized. Later I gathered all of my friends and we loudly sang “Jesus Loves Me” as we ran gleefully through the streets.
We lived in a duplex that was part of the Navy housing number C9b San Patricio. Dad was a chief petty officer stationed in San Juan, Puerto Rico. He was a captain of his own tug boat.
Dad took my brother and I a couple of times out on his tug boat and I remember how everyone would do whatever dad said. They even brought us chocolate milk and let us fish right off the boat’s bow. I especially liked it when dad would let me steer the boat, it was so much fun!
From the moment of my baptism to my present day life I have been fully devoted to God. I’ve never thought of straying. Following God was not an option it was my purpose.
From prayer to Bible study to a dedication to my church, I believed. It was as if knowing God was my destiny. I pushed each of my siblings to declare their faith through baptism. I watched as each of my children were baptized. And when the time comes for my grandchildren to make that pledge of faith, I will be right by their sides.
Believing in Jesus Christ as my Savior was in me and a part of me. It was just me. I had to believe!
Isaiah 49:1&2, “Listen to me, distant nations, you people who live far away! Before I was born, the Lord chose me and appointed me to be his servant. He made my words as sharp as a sword. With his own hand he protected me. He made me like an arrow, sharp and ready for use.”
This pretty much sums me up. God made me before I was ever born to follow Him. He put me in this world to proclaim my faith in Jesus Christ. He put me here so I would be a light for those who do not understand that God is Love.
We live in a very complicated world. A place where people have been given the power to do whatever they choose. A world where the Lord releases His Christian soldiers to do battle against the evil’s of this world for Him.
This is the reason why I know that I was not just created by the desire of my parents. I was created to do work for God’s glory. To announce to all who will listen that God is love and He created me to tell others about Him.
Our world is a fallen world and the prince of this world is Satan. Satan roams the face of the world capturing people and keeping them from understanding the purpose of their existence.
Satan was given the power to tempt all people and to deceive them into serving the world apart from God. Jesus came to stop the devils work by suffering and dying for our sins. He opened an easier way to believe in God by giving us a voice from within our being.
John 15:26-27, “The Helper will come-the Spirit, who reveals the truth about God and who comes from the Father. I will send him to you from the Father, and he will speak about me. And you, too, will speak about me because you have been with me from the very beginning.”
Just before Jesus was to die for the sins of the world, He taught His disciples one last time about why He came. His death was to bring a bright shining light of understanding into the hearts of all those who were with Him from the very beginning of time.
He proclaims that God’s chosen children were with Him from the very beginning. Proving that our world is a huge multifaceted game. A game where we must battle and defeat evil and win our world for God and good. A game where we are here to be Christian soldiers who will fight against Satan and his converts.
Adam and Eve released Satan into the world when they desired to understand the difference between good and evil. They were destined to do this. Our world was made for the purpose of gaining knowledge and wisdom that can only be achieved through world tests
Everything about this world is clouded in order that all people can achieve life fulfilling goals. A quest to prove that goodness, love and justice can prevail in a dark and evil world.
Jesus came as a light to all God’s children so they would find Him at the proper time in their lives. A time where they would come to revelations over their life purpose.
Each of us has a destiny and a call. As we begin to find the light we learn by our journey and the whisper of the Holy Spirit within our being. God implants His will into our hearts so we will do battle for Him.
A battle that is designed to defeat all of the suffering and pain that Satan has released into the world. An army of Christian Soldiers who stand strong against Satan and help the poor, persecuted, and mistreated of this world.
Sin is not knowing God. We must conquer the sin of this world and break through the barriers of darkness and walk into the light. Light is Jesus Christ and the revelations He brings to the world.
Jesus gives us the ability to be able to stand strong against the evil attacks of Satan. With Jesus we conquer the evils of this world with love.
John 1:1-5, “Before the world was created, the Word already existed; he was with God, and he was the same as God. From the very beginning the Word was with God. Through him God made all things; not one thing in all creation was made without him. The word was the source of life, and this life brought light to mankind. The light shines in the darkness, and the darkness has never put it out.”
These scriptures refer to Jesus Christ. Jesus is the light of the world. He brings understanding into the hearts of all those who are destined to do battle for God against the evil found in this world.
Our world had to have darkness in it, in order that people would follow the rules of engagement. Our lack of understanding helps us to fight battles throughout our lifetime for God moment by moment.
God set up our world so we would learn the lessons that Jesus Christ came to plainly teach us. His example of loving those who hurt him help us to stand strong against the opposition we face and to turn the hate of this world into love.
Isaiah 50:4-6, “The Sovereign Lord has taught me what to say, so that I can strengthen the weary. Every morning he makes me eager to hear what he is going to teach me. The Lord has given me understanding, and I have not rebelled or turned away from him. I bared my back to those who beat me. I did not stop them when they insulted me, when they pulled out the hairs of my beard and spit in my face.”
I proclaim that everything that I have suffered in this life can not compare with the knowledge I have gained. I know I came to this world to do battle for God. I know that my life purpose was always to proclaim the Love of God.
As a young child I began to see the light of Jesus. I proclaimed my Savior to my friends. I invite you to place your trust in Him and Believe. You know you were destined for it!

Sacrifices We Make For Love
My life was perfect and as a wife, mother and a leader in my church, I was respected. Everything changed when the Holy Spirit took my heart by surprise.
God wanted more from me than the ordinary way of the so-called right way to live. He wanted a complete change of mind. He wanted me to stop depending on what people said was the right way to live.
God is the creator of all things. He has control over His Children in this corrupt and sinful world. And He will use His abounding power to produce the fruit He wants to grow from the vine of each of His human creations.
God changed me by making me love another woman. He took my pride for this life and made me depend on Him.
He allowed me to see the world through eyes I would not have had if my life had not completely changed. Being gay was the kiss of death to my life as I was living it.
My father threatened my life, my brothers and sister deserted me. My mother, who once was my best friend did everything humanly possible to pray me out of my lifestyle.
No one really understands how serious a change like this was for me until they understand how drastically my family reacted in hopes of saving me from my sinful lifestyle. My mother was one such person. My mother had held a secret deep within her being for 24 years and in an effort to rescue me she confessed her sin.
My father was in the Navy and my mother was left to be the sole care taker of three small children with very little money to live on. She became very ill and lost her hearing. The Navy immediately flew dad off his aircraft carrier to be by my mothers side at great tax payers expense.
A week later my mother’s hearing returned, but because of what the Navy did she was afraid to let them know her hearing returned. She didn’t even tell dad. So for twenty four years she chose to keep everyone she knew in the dark.
When I showed that my heart was changed, because now I was with a woman and not with my husband, my mother faced her demon lie and confessed that she could hear. She thought that her prayers for my lifestyle would allow God to answer her prayer for me.
She no longer held onto the pride of her life and the respect of what others would think of her. She confessed, because she wanted to save me.
The only thing my mother didn’t count on was that God made me change in order to save me! My lifestyle took my pride away and made me investigate why lies about homosexuals were being legitimized by the church.
Depending completely on God made me read all kinds of information on History, books left out of the Bible, and of course the Bible. I studied and prayed for insight and depth of knowledge.
My learning experiences changed my thinking and made me see life in a different perspective. Taking away the pride I had with my so-called perfect life and being thrust into reality made me become an independent thinker.
God spoke to me in order that I would be a voice for Him. A voice not because He wanted me to justify the lifestyles of homosexuals, but a voice that would teach others about the purpose of our world.
Being gay was the best thing that ever happened to me. Taking my pride and making me depend on God changed me into a more loving, caring person. I no longer sought to look good for people, now my goal was to sacrifice my life for God.
Now my goals were to announce what I have learned to every willing ear. To announce to the world and the church that they were wrong about sin. To be a voice that proclaims that our world is no more than a life game.
Jesus states, Matthew 18:1-5, “At that time the disciples came to Jesus, asking, ‘Who is the greatest in the Kingdom of heaven?’
So Jesus called a child, had him stand in front of them, and said, ‘I assure you that unless you change and become like children, you will never enter the Kingdom of heaven. The greatest in the Kingdom of heaven is the one who humbles himself and becomes like this child. And whoever welcomes in my name one such child as this, welcomes me.’”
My mother confessed her lie to Save Me! God changed my lifestyle to Save Me! My pride was ripped from my life taking away my dependence on the church and how they said I was suppose to live and I was Saved!
In order to win in our world game of life we must change. Change is the key to walking the path of God. Change saves us from just living in this world for ourselves.
We must come to God like children. Children trust easily. They love completely and have no prejudice thoughts. They are completely humble to the circumstances of their lives.
To be children is to be totally helpless to the people who are in charge of their lives. To walk in this world is to acknowledge that when we are in control, God is not!
Let go of your pride and open your eyes so you can see that our world is temporary. Our world has an appointed time and then the game is over.
THE GAME OF LIFE IT’S ALMOST OVER, By Linda C Dipman is unlike anything you have ever read or seen before, exposing the world as a multi-faceted game surrounding every persons life. We are at War! Battling forces of evil versus good. http://www.outskirtspress.com/gameoflife
I Believe In Miracles
I looked down at my tires on my van and I was amazed. I had a good half inch tread left even though I had over sixty thousand miles on my tires. To me I didn’t know it was a miracle, but when my son, the mechanic, looked at them, he was astonished.
So many times we take God for granted, we think He doesn’t see our needs or understand how hard our life has become. But when we take the time to slow down from our fast paced life we see the miracles.
Walking outside my door, I admired all of the trees in my yard and the trees that decorated my neighbors yards. I began to notice that many of the pine trees were turning brown and dieing. A twenty-five foot pine tree stood stately in my front lawn and I was afraid that whatever was killing my neighbors trees would affect my tree as well.
I wasn’t sure how to protect my tree and so I consulted an expert. He said it was a disease that was taking all the pine trees in our area. I prayed for God’s protection over my tree and the years passed with my tree being unaffected by the death of it’s counter parts.
I left that house and moved into another home. Within six months of my move the pine tree I had asked God to protect, died.
Maybe God singled me out for these miracles or maybe my miracles could be your miracles too. Many of us have stopped praying and asking God for help. Many of us have given up hope because we have stopped looking beyond the problems we are facing at the moment.
Isaiah 65:1, “The Lord said, ‘I was ready to answer my people’s prayers, but they did not pray. I was ready for them to find me, but they did not even try. The nation did not pray to me, even though I was always ready to answer, Here I am; I will help you.’”
These are just two miracles, but I have many more to share and many that I can’t share because I am unaware of God’s miracle working plan in my life every day. All I can say for sure is I know God listens to me and reacts when I take the time to let Him know my needs.
For the past three years I have prayed that God would give me good gas mileage and protect me from hitting deer as I traveled back and forth in the early morning each week to pick up work for my upholstery business. I prayed that He would give me good weather and less wind except when I needed the wind to increase my gas mileage.
Every prayer was meant with an answer of yes. Many people have told me stories about how they are afraid to travel at certain times of the day because of deer. But I am not afraid!
Daniel 10:17&18, “‘I am like a slave standing before his master. How can I talk to you? I have no strength or breath left in me.
Once more he took hold of me, and I felt stronger. He said, ‘God loves you, so don’t let anything worry you or frighten you.’”
One time I looked down just for a moment and when I looked up there was a deer in my head lights right in front of my face. Yet I didn’t hit the deer. This is the reason why I believe in miracles, because I should have hit that deer.
I have prayed for God to keep termites out of my house and my roof from leaking. And God answered my prayers with yes. I prayed that God would help me pick shoes with enough cushion and support to help protect my back and feet as I worked on the cement floors of my shop and He answered my prayer, yes.
There were times when my children came to me rebellious and unhappy over having to go back and forth from their dad’s household to mine and I would pray for God’s help. I prayed asking God to give me miracles because I needed His help to get me through the stress that filled my life.
1Thessalonians 5:17&18, “Pray at all times, be thankful in all circumstances. This what God wants from you in your life in union with Christ Jesus.”
As long as I was praying and giving my cares to God, He answered my every day needs. Yet there were times when I was tested just to see if not getting my needs met would make me let go of my faith in Him.
The ice maker in my refrigerator leaked. I prayed over the problem, but even after the entire refrigerator was replaced the new one leaked too.
Instead of God answering my prayers the way I wanted them answered, He would give me the strength to stand up instead. I would meet the problems with patience and long suffering and the endurance that only the Holy Spirit could give a weak human being like myself.
Philippians 4:13, “I have the strength to face all conditions by the power that Christ gives me.”
Growing in my faith in God was part of learning how to become stronger so that I would remain firm during harder trials. Still every day life things happened showing me that among the miracles of God protecting me most of the time, I still had a lot to learn about this world.
God wanted me to be dependent on Him so when my children were taken away from me and custody given to their father because I was gay, I would not just roll up in a ball and be depressed. God showed me that my dependence gave me the strength to go through bad things that were meant to take away my faith by Satan.
I found out very quickly that our world was never meant to be a frolicking playground. From scriptures to the way that God had me lead my life, I learned that we were never suppose to make this world our home.
Our home is with our Father in Heaven. This world is a testing ground to teach us how our dependence on God makes us stronger. This world is a game of life that teaches us to love and have compassion above what people think is sin.
When we go through problems and we don’t have our needs met in this world we learn just how important it is to believe beyond ourselves. We learn how our dependence on God creates a determination to hold onto love no matter what society thinks.
How many times has God protected me from an accident or even from an illness? How many times has God carried me as I cried over how my family and society treated me? How many times did God keep me safe even though it was illegal for me to love another woman in the state that I lived?
Miracles are an every day part of my life because my life demanded faith for me to survive. I celebrate my life and I am thankful for what I have suffered, because it has changed me.
So from the little prayers in life to the big prayers of existence, I Believe in the miracle of God!

The Clouds Parted And I Began To See
Grey filled the sky and rain flooded in a tumultuous outpouring scattering little pea sized hail. Running for cover I stood in shocked silences wondering how long it would take for this storm to pass.
This was not the first time that I had been caught in a storm of fury. It seemed that every so often a test would emerge opening my eyes to a truth that I had never understood before.
It wasn’t until the storm subsided and my fears were calmed that I would hear the faint whisper. God would renew my strength and give me the courage to once again stand strong against the forces that were rising up to defeat me.
When I first began to hear the voice of God I did not listen. But with maturity and passing many tests, I discerned the difference so I could defeat the every day trials of life.
It was as if I was in a cloud. A dark dense gloom that circled my life and kept me bound until the day that God would set me free with a simple truth. A truth that revealed itself in light.
The Bible refers to light as wisdom. While the darkness is the blindness placed on us to keep us from understanding the purpose of our lives.
I am sure that if I had walked with the knowledge as to why bad things happen to people in this world, at the very beginning, I would not have gone through the tests that opened my eyes to the truth about my own life purpose.
I would have run from every storm that desired to trap me and punish me for being so blind. I would have stopped the test to prevent the suffering that would have occurred.
To understand life we must begin by reading the story of Adam and Eve. We must walk out of the storms of life and into the light. When Adam and Eve ate the apple they wanted to be like God. They wanted to know the difference between good and bad.
You see in order to see through the clouds of this life we must read about the purpose of this world. We must gain wisdom from the stories we find in the Bible. In the third chapter of Genesis we begin to see through the temptation of Satan how the lives of men changed.
Adam and Eve walked with God naked and had no shame, but when Satan tempted them to ignore God’s warning about eating the fruit, a war of spiritual forces arose. A God of goodness versus the evil temptations of Satan emerged showing us the difference between good and bad.
Belief in God and His way of living life opens our eyes to good. Getting caught up in this world and the desires of this world chain us to Satan and evil. This is one of the first things I had to learn in my quest to discover the difference between right and wrong!
In order to learn from our choices we had to have repercussions for choosing evil and rewards for doing right. Adam had to work hard all of his life and Eve born children in pain and was subject to her husband.
Now whether we sin or we don’t sin we must learn. Job illustrates a spiritual value in suffering that put a twist to the consequences that Adam and Eve suffered from sin.
Job is considered to be the oldest book in the Bible. A book that opens our eyes to the storms all people will face in life. A battle that takes the form of destroying everything a person values in this world in order to get us to understand the difference of following God or giving into Satan.
Job 1:9-12, Satan replied, “Would Job worship you if he got nothing out of it? You have always protected him and his family and everything he owns. You bless everything he does, and you have given him enough cattle to fill the whole country. But now suppose you take away everything he has-he will curse you in your face.’
‘All right,’ the Lord said to Satan, ‘everything he has is in your power, but you must not hurt Job himself.’ So Satan left.”
Satan took everything Job had in this world, his children, servants, livestock and later he even took his health. Three friends came to Job and confronted him telling him that he was being punished for sinning.
The final chapters of Job reveals that everything he went through was a result of a battle between good and evil. A test that showed God, Job’s heart. A heart that remained faithful not only to God, but to doing good even if the tests made him look bad according to the belief system of his faith.
Jobs life opens up the biggest revelation of them all about this world. It parts the clouds of ignorance and lets us see the purpose of all human life.
This world is more than what it seems. It is a playing field. A game that takes our lives and teaches us truth. Everything we go through has a purpose and a Great Awakening of why the path that leads to understanding is better than the path of temptation.
So many people hold onto the example of the prodigal son and his sin. How the son chooses the world and the evils of this world over following God. His suffering was a direct result of sin.
Jesus proclaims a celebration when the fallen son returns changed by seeing that his life was nothing without God. Jesus opens up the mystery to how we grow even when we sin.
Job learned through being tested that God was still the one to follow in this world. The prodigal son proved that even if we stray from God that He will welcome us back.
Each story proves that our world is not what it seems. Revelations 1:8, “‘I am the first and the last,’ says the Lord God Almighty, who is, who was, and who is to come.”
God has always been. Our world was created so people would go through life and be changed through the trials that they face. Satan is given power to give us choices.
To hold onto God during the storms of life is to experience each trial for the test that it is. A test that reveals if our hearts are filled with evil or if we pass the tests of life and choose to become like God and do good.
The rain ended, the hail stopped and the clouds left as quickly as they came. The darkness broke forth revealing the colors of a beautiful rainbow. A promise that every trial has an end.
A promise that when this world ends and our learning process is over a more perfect sinless world will appear. An eternity where we will be rewarded for every bad thing that ever happened to us here.

Demons, Spirits, And Evil Thoughts
Many of today’s theologians refuse to talk about Satan. They would rather blame all evil on people and sin. Today I wish to enlighten the world and the great historians and teachers of the Bible about how Satan uses evil spirits to manipulate people into doing his will.
In order to understand our world we must realize that evil doesn’t just come to life through ideas spurred on by human desires. Take the temptation of Adam and Eve. Satan took on the form of a snake to get them to eat the apple.
God speaks to their first born child, Cain and tells Cain that he needs to master sin and he must not allow it to control him. Cain had to line up his free will with God’s will. God wanted him to walk through this world free from the temptations of Satan.
Genesis 4: 6&7, “Then the Lord said to Cain, ‘Why are you angry? Why that scowl on your face? If you had done the right thing, you would be smiling; but because you have done evil, sin is crouching at your door. It wants to rule you, but you must overcome it.”
This story reveals the unseen world of the game of life. An unseen world where forces rise up and want to persuade a person to choose to sin. A battle that takes on any worldly form or a still small voice inside a person’s head to give a person a choice of which path he or she wishes to follow.
This is the very reason why it is so important to understand that we are in a life game. To win we must understand how our enemy, Satan, intends to fight against us.
Let me begin this story at the beginning. First our world was once perfect, but when Eve chose to give into temptation everything changed. Evil was released into the world in order to fulfill God’s words. And a new world emerged presenting people with the ability to choose evil.
Genesis 2:16&17 “He told him, ‘You may eat the fruit of any tree in the garden, except the tree that gives knowledge of what is good and what is bad. You must not eat the fruit of that tree; if you do, you will die the same day.’”
When freewill came into play our world changed. People began to take the perfect world that God created and change it into a world where people became the creators.
Now God was no longer King. Satan was thrown down from heaven with a third of all angels to wage a battle with the sons of God. Satan became the king of the earth. He was given the power to release evil into the world in order to present all people with a choice.
A complete illustration of how temptation works is revealed when Jesus receives the Holy Spirit after being baptized by John the Baptist. Satan tempts Jesus and preys on the weaknesses that all human beings are given in this world.
This also shows how easy it is to persuade man to live in this world for themselves and not for God. You see fear is the biggest enemy of people. This happens when we think of the ‘what if’ of life that we can’t control.
When we let go of our faith in God, we give into the world and how it can protect us through the things of this world. Things like power, wealth and manmade securities.
For instance we can’t produce bread out of thin air, we must work for it. Sometimes we fear not having enough work, so we work in excess to achieve the freedom that wealth provides. This is the very weapon Satan will use to get God’s children to deny their faith and give into sin.
Another corrupting force used by Satan is power. Because he is the ruler of this world he can put people in powerful places. As a result he is the god of earth and when we follow him we become subject to his will. This is the reason why people have been persuaded to follow gods that are not gods.
The Last thing that Satan tempted Jesus with was his human life. Satan tried to trick him into committing suicide. If He could get Jesus to leave this world then God would never be able to win.
No longer would the children of God have the easy access to the Holy Spirit and the power the Spirit gives to help people to win their game for Christ. The Holy Spirit is our quick access to revealing which path God wants us to take and the supernatural powers we need to fight off the attacks of Satan.
John 14:16&17, “I will ask the Father, and he will give you another Helper, who will stay with you forever. He is the Spirit, who reveals the truth about God. The world cannot receive him, because it cannot see him or know him. But you know him, because he remains with you and is in you.”
Because our world is imperfect, Satan has the power to corrupt people from the inside of their heads. He has the power to lead them astray by making them serve the world and the things of the world.
This is the reason why all forms of evil are found in this world. Evil that leads to murder, sexual sins, greed and anything that leads a person astray. To do it the world’s way is to lose our purpose and the knowledge of which side we are to take in our battle to win the game of life.
Just in case you are reading this article apart from my earlier articles let me begin by stating that God used the typewriter to talk to me. He always ended every typed message with these words. “My Ways Are Not Human Ways, Trust In Me. Pray for protection from Satan! God Has Spoken.”
From the temptation of Satan to my very own life, God showed me how the game of life is fought. In order to win I needed to ask for protection to aid me in my quest to win this world for God.
In order to follow God we must allow Him to influence our lives by how we think inside our brain. We must read our Bible. We must learn to pray so we will be able to conquer the tests of life that tempt us into doing evil to each other.
When you are in a life game you must choose a side. You cannot do this world all on your own separated from God’s purpose for your being. Understanding that we will be tested by Satan helps us to not give into temptation. It ultimately gives us the power to win our life game for God and good.

Love Is The Key To The World
Looking at the complexities of our world is to be totally amazed. From the way our world is balanced with just the right amount of natural wonders to the array of wildlife and the positioning of each and every country in our expansive world.
The stars and the moon light up our planet at night and the sun brings rays of light into our day. Every part of our world is miraculous and wonderfully made.
The most incredible part of our world is the people themselves. It is awesome to think how we are formed in our mothers wombs. But most of all it’s a mystery on how we even begin to come to know about God.
God is our creator. God formed us for a purpose. God made us different by appointing us to live in different countries, cultures, lifestyles and a wide variety of families.
Twenty years ago God singled me out. He began by teaching me to be humble. The way He humbled me was to make me gay.
You see I was a Bible believing Southern Baptist. To be gay was the ‘kiss of death’ at least to the church I was serving. Very quickly I understood what being humble was all about when my family, church, and even my community turned against me.
My children were taken from me. I was jailed, assaulted, and denied justice in the courts. My own father wanted to kill me. All because I was in love with a woman.
God said I would not be able to go through the persecution I would face if He didn’t reveal Himself to me in a big way. This is when the supernatural messages began.
I no longer had the freedom to worship God in the church because I was not excepted the way I was made by God. So God became my only friend. He ended every message that He gave me with these words, “My Ways are not Human Ways, Trust In Me.”
From that moment on God began to reveal to me a different world. A truth that was hidden deep within the psyche of the brain. A Spiritual realm of decision. A battle that pitted evil against good.
God did not unfold the wonders of His way to me all at once because like all human beings I was blind to the truth about our world. He did it little by little. Encouraging me to listen to the voice that led me down the path of love.
It seemed that love was the key to knowing the will of God. Love identifies God’s truth and reveals the evil plans of man. God made this world as a testing ground. A place where we would learn to choose the right over the bad.
So in order for me to understand God’s messages to me, I had to see our world for what it was. Up until the time I was called, I was living the ideal Christian life. I obeyed every law including the speed limit, but when I was persecuted for love, my perception of this world changed.
God is love and He reveals Himself to people in love. To throw out our family members and friends because they love differently has nothing to do with God. It is man made up rules and doctrines handed down by the church forefathers.
Look at our world and all of the different cultures and belief systems. All governments are set up by people. From democracy to communism to the different ways we believe in God.
Laws govern people and tell them how to live and what they are allowed to do. It should be no secret that laws have come in and corrupted the way the church handles faith.
This is the very reason why I believe in miracles. God does not need established churches to teach people about Him. All God needs is for us to listen to His voice within our being.
All God needs is love to identify Himself to us. Love is not a law, but a feeling. Love supersedes all human ways of thinking. Love is God’s message to people.
If we love then we follow God. Think about what spurs you on to giving at Christmas time. We love to give presents to those we love because it make us feel good.
To know God is to believe in the miracle of life. To believe in more than just the seen. To understand beyond the limits of this world and see the awesomeness.
God’s messages to me helped me to see that our lives have a purpose that goes far beyond the limits of this world. But God also explained to me that I needed to tell people that love is the path to Him.
Please help me to get this message out. So people will listen to the voice of love and not the voice of hate.
