Sometimes it can be puzzling whether your relationship is serious or not. Men can be confusing. They are not as verbal as women. Where a woman would love to talk things out and say this is where our relationship is, men prefer to leave things unspoken. They expect a woman to pick up on their cues and simply know just how serious the relationship is. So, in order for you to figure out how serious your relationship is you have to know what signs to look for.

The following is a list of the many different ways men subtly tell you they are serious about you. Many times women simply blow them off and do not think of them as a big deal. To a man, though, they are a big deal. So, pay attention and look for these signs of a serious relationship with your man.

- Instead of saying ‘I’ he now says ‘we’. He is obviously thinking of you as a team, as a couple.
- He calls just to talk. Men rarely just chat on the phone. If he’s calling you without an agenda it means he misses you.
- He calls if he is going to be late. This is showing great respect for you. Instead of letting you sit and wonder where he is, he gives you a call to say he’s running late.
- He listens to you. This means he really listens to you. He doesn’t necessarily hang on your every word, but he is paying attention and valuing what you say.
- He has told his friends about you. This is a “major” in a man’s world. When he’s serious about something he shares it with his friends.
- He starts becoming interested in the things you do. This includes work and hobbies. If he is showing an interest in all aspects of your life then he’s serious.
- Everything is not all about sex. In the beginning you likely had wild romps that ended with him falling asleep. Now all of the sudden he wants to cuddle or just sit with you then he’s serious. He’s no longer seeing you as just someone to sleep with. He’s seeing you as someone he wants to be with.
- He is interested in your friends and family. Men do not really want to be confronted with your friends or family. He knows they are judging him. When he starts to act interested, though, this means he is wanting their acceptance, so he’s wanting to be around for quite a while.

These are just a handful of the signs men give when they are getting serious in a relationship. There’s no doubt that you are experiencing them if he really is serious about you. It can be easy to write them off, but pay attention because he’s trying to tell you he’s really in to you.
