Private Jets : Beyond First Class
It is interesting to observe the ascent of a businessman from the “run-of-the-mill” to the “Tycoon” level. The best way to find his level at any given time is to observe how he travels in connection with his business.
Initially he would probably use his car to move around within a small radius to meet his prospective customers and secure orders. It is a struggle for the first two or three years, but then things are not always the same. His customers start gaining confidence in him; word gets around and his company’s name spreads over a wider area.
To travel to longer distances there is always the Train or where railways do not reach, the Bus. When his turnover is on the increase and the orders are pouring in, he finds that there isn’t enough time for him any more to deal with all his customers, so even though it is more expensive, he opts to fly to his destinations economy class, of course.
Soon the comfort level of our man has risen with the result he starts finding it irksome to stand in the long queue for checking in at the airport which also meant that he is there an hour before the flight took off. So our man makes a tough decision to fly First Class in future.
The travel expense shoots up the first year, but then the advantages more than compensates this splurge. He does not waste any more time waiting in queues; he checks in at the airport just in time to catch the flight; he arrives at his destination fresh after the comfortable first class journey, and once in a while he meets up with people of substance who are very useful in his line of business.
Eventually, the others start viewing him as a man of substance and very useful for their business, and this is the time our man starts thinking of more privacy and freedom. He thinks seriously of Private Jets and makes tentative inquiries; and finds he can justify the additional expense if he has to take other people with him on his business, like the legal advisor, financial consultant, engineer, and the personal assistant. He finds they can have a full fledged conference in flight, and more importantly, their morale is high.
Once the team flies by Private Jet, they would all be thinking “What would we do without the Chartered flights?”
Our man has arrived.
