How To Get Cheap Air Tickets
With planning, foresight and a little bit of hard work, you can go ahead and have that dream vacation the economical way. Here’s how:
*Search the internet, call airline agencies and watch the news to keep yourself up to date on discounts. There are a lot of promotional fares offered by airline companies that are new in the industry.
*When you do travel a lot, sign up for frequent flier miles.
*Ask about student fares or senior citizen discounts.
*Keep a flexible travel schedule. Go with the flow. If the promo states that they only give discounts every Tuesdays, then set your departure on Tuesday. Generally, Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Saturdays are the days that have fewer reservations, so it in on these days that tickets are sold cheap. Monday is usually the busiest day of the week.
* Do not go ahead and make reservations to the first airline company you see with promotions. Take the time to source out a variety of options. Take the time to find out if the promotion is indeed the cheapest in your area. Ask the clerk about other offers available. When checking through the internet, make sure you check at least five sites before you decide where to buy your tickets.
*You can have the option of purchasing tickets trough consolidators. These are people who buy a whole block of tickets and resell them at certain discounts. This helps the airline fill up still available seats. The travel section of the newspaper is the place to check for ticket consolidators.
*Try flying on off peak hours schedule. Usually if you take the before seven in the morning flight or the after seven in the evening flight, tickets are at their cheapest. This too, will be a wise decision since it is at these times that airlines are not overcrowded, thus getting more space for yourself and your luggage.
*Be sure to inquire if the airline offers travel packages. Some airlines do offer packages such as car rental discount or a hotel room discount that comes with the travel ticket.
* When you are flying off season, be very sure to ask about certain standby fares.
*Have an early booking. Promotions are usually offered when one reserves a ticket three weeks beforehand. Remember that due to over crowding during the holidays, you may not use your frequent flier miles. So book in advance if you plan to travel during the holidays.
*Staying with only one airline on your entire trip may too, give you discounts. Airlines offer special rates to round trip tickets or connecting flights.
Have a safe trip and enjoy!

Use Carry On Luggage To Save Time At The Airport
Travel luggage is designed for professionals, sportsmen, men, women, kids and even animals. Luggage is manufactured all over the worlds so you will not have any trouble finding the perfect bag to carry your items.

Airline Says No To 2007 Malta Flights
This year has started well for the Malta holidays and hotel industry, with an increase in visitors for the first few months compared to 2006 - a good indication that if the off peak season is doing well the rest of the year could also see good gains in holiday tourists to the Mediterranean island.
The measurable increase for the first months of 2007 has come just a couple of months since Ryanair started low cost flights to Malta from London’s Luton Airport to the island, and later months could be boosted further after Ryanair started flying from Dublin to Malta as well.
Overall some predictions estimate that Malta will benefit in the 2007 holiday season by an extra 80,000 tourists, reversing the decline of recent years.
The airline had to wait some time for the Maltese authorities to finally relent and give the green light for the flights to start, with concern at one stage that if the low cost airlines walked away from the negotiating table that the island would slip from a mainstream holiday destination to one catering for specialist groups of travellers.
But hopes that popular low cost airline easyJet would provide further impetus for the Malta holiday trade seems to have been dashed with reports in the island’s press that talks have stalled, and a proposed London Gatwick route has been shelved.
A new low cost London Gatwick route would have provided competition for the island’s national airline, Air Malta, and possibly have reduced the cost of flying to Malta further.
Malta Flights
Gatwick is located on the borders of Surrey and West Sussex and close to South and West London that would provide Malta with the possibility of extra affluent holiday makers.
In response to the arrival of Ryanair though, Air Malta has been offering reduced fares of its own, and has tried to defend her market share of the UK travelling public by starting a new route from Liverpool’s John Lennon Airport in the North-West of England.
The suggested reason for Malta turning down the possibility of a new low cost route from the UK is that London Gatwick does have tour operators offering their own flights, either as part of a package, or on a seat only sale.
With the arrival of more holidaymakers, the possibility of increased property sales to overseas buyers becomes more of a reality as well, so the real estate sector as well as the holiday market is keeping a keen eye on arrival figures for the months ahead.
Some UK overseas property agencies who deal with property in Malta think that property prices could rise in 2007.
‘With lower fares, Malta becomes a destination viable for 3 and 4 days trips a few times a year from the UK, and that will attract buyers to look at Malta in the same way they do France and Spain when considering where to buy a holiday home abroad. The weather in Malta and low fares could be a magnet for buyers’, commented one recently,
There is a warning however from some that property prices on the island might not necessarily escalate in the same way that regions of France have seen when low cost airlines have started flying to their region.

Advance Booking of Airport Parking Place: The Only Solution for the Busy Season
Some years ago, parking a car on the airport was not viewed as a problem as such. But now it is; thanks to a tremendous surge in business traveling. There are many other factors that also turned airport parking into a hazardous and expensive experience. Let’s come the summer months and there is an extra ordinary rush for getting out of the country. And the consequence is that: you get no place in the parking area to keep your poor car safely for a few days.
Just place yourself in this situation: you have driven up too airport all the way with the hope of parking your car in the safe place before departing for your exotic holiday destination, but in your dismay found out that all car parks have been booked out well in advance! Do you have any idea what should be your next step of action? If it is holiday season, the space crunch is even more acute and during this time you have to pre book parking at least seven days before the journey.
So you can see the trend and unfortunately the trend is now typical of all the important and busy airports across the globe, especially in the USA and in the European countries. If you do not want to be fooled by this crazy craving for parking places in the onset of your journey, take good care of pre booking your parking place in the airport well in advance.
But everything in this world has two sides-a positive side and a negative side. The airport parking also has its share of positive and negative effects. On the one hand, this maddening rush for airport parking place adds to your holiday booking list another item apart from hotel and flights. On the other hand, the airport parking fees tend to come down dramatically in the recent times. There is a reason for it. Few years ago, the practice of airport parking was not so popular. But today it has become so hugely poplar, that the authorities had to work out some solutions and the result is the concept of a number of off airport car parking. Thus in place of a handful expensive car parks in the airports today you can find a number of well served car parks near all major airports in the world.
In a nutshell, the surge in the number of off and on airport car parking and the facility of pre booking not only added to the availability of parking places, it also helped to pull down the expenses of car parking. Thus it is now possible for more and more number of passengers to take the advantage of airport parking at a lower price.

Tips On Scouting The Best Off-site Airport Parking
It’s great to have your car waiting at the airport when you get back home after a business trip or a holiday. Though most airport parking costs are fairly reasonable, you might just get a great deal if you looked at off-site parking. Satellite parking lots usually give away good deals thanks to the competition they face from other parking lots. So if you are quite smart and savvy, you might just end up saving a lot!
How do you get the best deals in parking? If you tend to use a parking lot often, especially for overnight or longer, try and find out from them if they will give you a discount on a certain minimum number of vouchers purchased. Some of them give up to 50% off if you buy the vouchers online or with a credit card.
You can also choose the parking space you want in some parking lots. You might just find that some spaces cost less than the more easily accessible ones. If it is a long trip you are off to, it would make sense to enquire about this because the savings would probably be considerable. Also enquire about daily versus weekly rates. Most parking lots offer considerable discounts for long-term parking. Some even offer facilities for frequent parking, much like the airlines’ frequent flier scheme.
There are schemes open to members of certain automobile organizations too. So if you are a member of say, AAA, you could find out from them or their web site whether there are any special offers for the members at certain parking lots. You might just get a hefty discount in some lots or, if you’re lucky, you could avail of a service where they pick up your car from the airport when you leave and drive it there when you get back.
Of course, nothing can beat the Internet as far as offers are concerned. Keep tabs on it days or maybe weeks before you leave. You might get very attractive deals. You might even pick up a free day’s coupon off the Internet! Or get a day free if you park for two days. With so much competition, parking lot operators want you to try parking at their lot and to feel comfortable there. Once they’ve got you as a customer, they hope you’ll stick around for a long time. So you might as well make use of this and get the best deal out of them. It’s worth surfing the Internet and doing a bit of research. All you need to do when you’ve got a good deal is to pay online, print out the transaction receipt and take it along with you to the parking lot where you will have to submit it. If you do it well in advance, who knows, you might save as much as 60%.
Special holiday season discounts, too, are a good idea and many operators offer them before every holiday season. Sometimes, travel operators either tell you of good deals or give you a good deal like free or discount vouchers themselves. You’ll need to spend a bit of time finding out which one is the best deal for you but at the end of it, you’ll find the savings more than make up for the time spent!

How To Look For A Great Private Jet Company
Traveling by commercial airplanes has hassles like long queues at check-in, long wait at immigration, waiting at the belt for your luggage and many more nuances.
Aside from the hassle you have to endure and your precious time wasted, you may also have to contend with annoying passengers sitting besides you, most often stuck with them as you do not have the place to move around.
It is precisely due the reasons above that many have begun to discover the joy and convenience of traveling on a private jet plane. Many feel this is always a better option that going through all the hectic and tiring airport procedures. The overwhelming plus point is the shortening the time of your traveling.
Of course, you will need to locate a good private jet company that provide good quality service and is trustworthy. There are many such private jet companies in the market but not all are up to par in terms of quality of service and catering to the diverse needs of customers. If price is not an issue, you should always source for reputable trustworthy private jet company that emphasis on their services to their customers.
A great private jet company should provide service right from the start at the point of your first contact with them right through until you reach your destination. From the point where you book the flight with them, to sending you to the airport, the checking-in, pre-flight arrangement, the entire flight and the return journey. They should allow you many options of timing, aircraft types as well as destinations either advising or helping you make arrangement if required.
For example, upon your request to fly to a place that is normally not covered by public airplanes, like some vacation islands that are not popular tourist spots, the company can specifically arrange for private jet plane flights accordingly. This means that private jet company allows you the total freedom to choose your point of origin to the point of destination.
By default, the company should have arranged for all the special checking in of your baggage and probably assign an assistant to you to help you on the day of your travel. This way, you can just sit back, relax at the lounge area. Then just before the flight, you just need to stroll into the private exit of the airport which are only open for such occasions and traveling purposes. No need to stand in queue and fight with the crowds of people at the common departure hall.
Once you are on the private jet, everything would be at your own comfort as you requested. You would have your own privacy and in control of your whole journey. The company would have arranged everything according to your preference.
Finally when you reached your destination, you again would be ushered to a private area to clear your immigration without fighting with the rest of the crowds. The service does not end here. The company would also arrange for limo or taxi to take you to the specific hotel or guest house that you are staying upon request.
As you can see, the journey will be totally enjoyable and hassle free when you travel by private jet. Thus, a good private jet company should minimally provide the services as mentioned above. Talk to several of the private jet companies to see what sort of services they provide, talk to people who had used them before, before you make your decision.

Why In The World Would I Use Private Jet Charter Services?
Private charter jets often offer amenities that are not found on public airlines. Although it may sound expensive to charter a private jet, there are many benefits that outweigh the cost. Commercial airlines cannot compare to the benefits of private charter jets, especially if you fly frequently.
Often, after only one private charter flight, passengers are hooked. They decide that private jets are now their preferred mode of transportation. You can locate a private charter jet through local business charters or through a charter broker who is qualified.
Since the price of private charter jets has become more affordable, they have also become more popular. Whether you are booking a private charter jet for business associates, friends or family, there is no better way to commemorate a special occasion.
Generally, commercial airlines have a set number of routes with only one or two connecting cities or countries. Private charter jets have greater flexibility in their routes. If done correctly, private charter jets have the ability to offer less expensive tickets because they operate differently than commercial airlines. Since, when chartering private jets, the entire airplane is booked from the airlines, they are able to offer a discount.
Private charter jets are great for group travel or even for those who want a more private flying encounter. At times, travel firms will incorporate overnight stays at some of the most luxurious hotels. They may also include programs for touring and sightseeing.
Private charter jets are generally more reliable than other ways of getting inexpensive tickets. Often, the closer to the flying date it gets, the cheaper it becomes to book. In order to make their money, the private charter company wants to sell as many tickets as possible. They offer you the ability to fly when and where you want to. All the while, giving you the security and privacy not found on commercial airlines.
There are some things that need to be kept in mind when looking into chartering a private jet. First, you will need to chose a charter that suites your needs best. When researching a charter jet company, focus on the safety and service of the company. Ask them questions. Ask them what qualities do they have that other companies do not?
There is the chance that private charter jets will cancel the flight if they have not sold enough seats. Additionally, if you travel with a commercial airline and there is any type of problem with the flight, they will try to get you as close as possible to your destination. Unfortunately, private charter jets do not have this capability. Therefore, you could possibly find yourself stuck where you are. Although you will receive a full refund, rearranging your schedule could possibly ruin the entire trip.
Private charter jets have the capability to fly in and out of most airports in the United States. They have access to over 5,000 airports in both the United States and Europe.
When flying with a private charter jet, you will generally lose less time at the airports. Flights are generally quicker and offer a more luxurious flying experience. The cabins are often fancier and more comfortable.
Private charter jets, because they are less crowded and more private, allow the business traveler to conduct business right on the plane while flying to and from his or her destination. Private charters also allow for quick trips for get-togethers with business associates.
With a private charter jet, you can get more one-on-one attention from flight attendants. The flight attendants are trained to wait on small groups. Food on private jets in considerably better than food found on commercial airlines. Charter jet food is more in line with food that would be served at the more prestigious restaurants.
Normally, it only takes one flight on a private jet to be hooked for life. You will quickly decide that flying privately is the only way to fly. With so many benefits with chartering a private jet, you will never want to fly with the commercial airlines again.

Success Story…. Airline Growth And Early Airline Development In The United States
Airlines are companies that furnish air transport services for freight, passengers or chartered flights. Airlines own or lease the aircraft that are used to carry out one or more of the aforementioned services. An airline may also form an coalition or partnership with another airline or airlines to benefit mutually.
The demand and pricing for air travel services depends on a number of factors, including leisure passenger needs, business passenger needs, demand for business cargo shipments and all of these are of course influenced by overall economic activity of a given area or region.
Overall, the demand for air travel services has risen quite consistently. While annual growth rates during the 80s and 90s ranged between 5-6%, there was a drastic 15% in earlier days of aviation during the 1950s and 1960s.
Growth rates are certainly not uniform across the board and differ from region to region. In areas where deregulation provided greater pricing independence and, in turn, competition, the results were lower fares and sometimes very dramatic spikes in overall growth.
After World War I the U.S. was inundated with airmen. Many of these aviators opted to use their war surplus planes to perform various barnstorming programs for passengers and spectators.
In 1918 the United States Postal Service began using airplanes to experiment with air mail service. They used aircraft services acquired from the United States Army. After the Army flew many air mail missions, the Post Office decided it was time to start their own air mail network, as the Army proved to be undependable.
Eventually, the 1920s brought the advent of passenger airlines. Many of these companies offering passenger service still dealt primarily with transporting mail. Then in the year 1925, Ford bought the Stout Aircraft Company as well as started construction on an all-metal aircraft that became the first American passenger airliner.
Pan American World Airways was the first American airline to go international, and was the only U.S. airline to do so before the 1940s.
Immediately after Word War II there was a surplus of military aircraft, and some designs such as the Douglas C-3 that were used for cargo and troop transport, were converted to civilian passenger service.
Even during the depression the American airline industry was profitable for most airlines and continued to be so until the start of World War II. At this time the U.S. saw much better airline profits than did war-torn Europe. Around this time the airline industry really took off with advances in technology as well as manufacturing procedures of aircraft.

Aviation: Having Fun in the Sky
Aviation in America has a long and glorious tradition dating all the way back to the days of the Wright Brothers. When these two men decided they would make a flying machine, most people thought they were insane. Man is not meant to fly, that is for the birds. It is impossible, physically and technically and it can never happen. But history has proven the doubters wrong time and again and aviation was no exception.
Now days, anyone can fly. Not only in a commercial plane but anyone with the right frame of mind and desire can learn how to fly themselves. It is not as hard as you might think. There are a slew of independent web sites that can have the wannabe pilot up and running in a very short time.
Most of these online schools cost anywhere from two thousand dollars all the way up to ten thousand. They range from eleven days to several weeks in length. Do some research into what works well with your schedule and decide the best fit before committing to anything. Also make sure they are an accredited school and your license will be much easier to get.
These classes are fun and informative. You start out by learning the technical aspects of flying, including the rules and regulations of airspace. These guidelines are important to understand when learning to fly. Next, you move on to hands-on interaction with certified instructors. You will learn the ins and outs of the cockpit and the entire plane itself. In order to fully know what you are doing, this approach is key. Be safe first and then have fun with your newly acquired skills.
Keep in mind that passing these first tests does not qualify you for flight. Gaining full status to fly is a longer process but a necessary one. A certain number of hours must be completed in the air before becoming a fully functioning member of the airborne, aviation community. Once this process is complete, your work is over and now the real fun begins.
So what can one do with an aviation license? What activities are fun and available to a fully licensed pilot? First is the possibility of owning your own plane. If you own your own plane, the possibilities for recreation are endless.
Where have you always wanted to go but could not because of time constraints and lack of money? When you are the pilot, no where is off limits. Been meaning to go to Ireland? Jamaica? No problem, since now you have your own plane and can fly there yourself.
Not to mention you bypass the headache everyone must face now in going to the airport. Why wait in line for hours and go through security checkpoints when you can take off whenever you want and go wherever you want? Flying can now become a fun, relaxing, educational experience rather than the excruciating pain it is now.
Another recreational activity that can be done with flying is skydiving. Skydiving is enjoyed by thousands of people each year. One of the most gratifying experiences is conquering your fear of heights, getting a rush from the free-fall or just plain doing something new and exciting.
For first time skydivers, tandem diving is recommended. With this method, you do not need to learn how to skydive at all but can still enjoy the feeling. A trained professional is connected to you while you jump and they do all the necessary work as you have all the fun. Sounds like a good combination? It is.
For other more seasoned skydivers, there is always the accelerated free-fall. In this method, a person can move faster towards their goal by completing this as a first jump and getting closer to full certification. This is for serious jumpers that intend to continue skydiving for some time.
So, all of this fun and excitement stems from the wonderful invention and profession of aviation. So many opportunities presented themselves when the first plane was flown. Whether one experiences it first hand by learning to fly and becoming a pilot or uses a plane to take a trip or to participate in a fun activity such as skydiving, everyone benefits from its practice.
