Do You Play Craps?

Remember some Hollywood movies, where you see a guy standing at the edge of a casino table, with a very sexy lady beside him, and the guy rolling two dices on the table, and betting on the results? Well, just to give you a visual image of this game, that my friend is the game of craps. This game is highly popular in United States, especially since it is a dare all game, where all can be players will roll the dice and base everything on luck and chance. So maybe that is why it is the hallmark of Las Vegas based movies

The rule in playing craps is very simple. In a casino, there will be four members of the staff for each craps table. Two of them are base dealers, the ones who give and collect the bets from the player. One is called the boxman, responsible for watching over the chips and managing the dealers and another is called the stickman, who is positioned opposite the boxman, and is responsible for calling out the results for each roll and collecting the dices that were thrown with a wooden stick.

Each of the players line up for a chance to roll the dice. A player, sometimes called a shooter, makes a bet on a roll, and the first roll is called come out roll. The bets are made against the amounts of the two dices that were rolled. You can either choose to roll one dice first, or you can have the option of making the dices hit the sides of the table. Tossing the dices is not an option, since this increases the chance of cheating on the part of the players.

There are two kinds of bets that are popular in a craps game. One is called the pass line bet, and the other is the do not pass bet. Those who use the pass line are called right bettors, and the do not pass users are called the wrong bettors.

When using the pass line bet, remember that you are betting for a total of 11 or a 7 for each roll. When you roll a 2, a 3 or a 12, you lose the game. But when you roll other numbers, you get what is called a point. If you get a point and bet on a pass line, you will win if the roll is a point, but make sure that you do not roll a 7 after the point, for you will lose. Rolling of a 7 is called seven out.

The do not pass is the opposite of the pass line bet. The player will bet that he will roll a 2 or a 3, and will win if you roll it. If you roll a 7 or an 11, you will lose.

This game is all very simple, but you have to have luck on your side to win. You leave everything to chance, and if you rolled the right amount, you win.

The Fundamentals of Playing Casino Online

The internet is offering just about everything into the comforts of our home. From books, to clothes, food to diet plans, movies to music, you can get everything with just one click on a button. You really do not have to go far in getting these things, why, with just a computer set up, you can get everything you want right in the comfort of your own home. The ease and comfort of purchasing or selling something via the internet is the perfect lure for busy people who almost have no time to shop or drop by somewhere just to get what they need. And really, why not offer casinos? Pokers, bingo, blackjack and roulette is offered there, too.

Before trying online casinos, however, it is important to keep some things in mind. First of all, you have to make sure that the site you are playing on is legitimate and honest. Remember that in the internet, it is so easy to be fooled. You might transfer money into a fraudulent account, and lose what you have. So be on the look out for these dangers. Make sure that you are checking in only on online casinos that are honest in dealing with their players.

Remember also that these sites are not based in the United States, so the national laws that regulate casinos do not apply to this. Keep in mind that since they are outside the country, you might have a hard time on keeping track of them if you ever you were cheated. Remember, distance is daunting if you do not have the means of getting your money back.

Betting is still very much present, even when playing online casinos. You will be required to place your money on an account, and this will be transferred to the winner via PayPal or Neteller. So before handing in cash, check out the website, first! If they have more members and a good reputation, you can almost be assured that you get your moneys worth. Make sure that before downloading any of software an online casino is offering, there has to be test run of the product first. You have to be able to play for free before you download the software, since this may help in protecting you from fraud in the end. An example of this software is the Cryptologic, is safe and can be trusted, since it is listed in the Nasdaq.

Of course, when you play in a casino, you have a basic understanding that the house almost always wins. This also applies in online casinos. So make sure that you go slowly on transferring money, since online casino, just like traditional casinos, can become quite addictive.

It is a whole new world in the internet. As with the real world, it has its good side, and its bad side. You have to be really careful when trying the online casinos, so you have the sole responsibility of protecting yourself from being cheated, and from fraud.

World-First Roulette Computer Conference

Ever since 3 gamblers beat roulette and won over US$2M at the Ritz Casino with an electronic device [roulette computer], such technology has been the source of much debate and controversy.

At what is believed to be the World’s first conference regarding casino game prediction devices, several roulette computers will be demonstrated to a live audience. The 3-day conference is being hosted by Stefano Hourmouzis, an Australian gambling consultant. Several other gambling consultants are expected to attend, and will demonstrate various other devices to beat casinos including card-counting computers.

The first known wearable roulette computer was designed in the 1970’s by a group named the Eudemons. It consisted of a CMOS 6502 microprocessor with a modest 5K RAM, and was fitted into a shoe. However for it to be effective, it required a tilted wheel. A tilted wheel is literally a wheel that is not perfectly level, the result of which is the ball will tend to fall in one particular area more than others. This in turn makes predicting the outcome of spins far easier and more accurate.

The UK National Weights and Measures Laboratory (NWML) recently conducted a study into the effectiveness of one particular roulette computer, and concluded the wheel must be tilted for predictions to be sufficiently accurate. Without the tilt [level wheels], NWML determined predictions may not be accurate; at least with the particular device tested. While computers that can accurately predict spins of tilted [biased] wheels are quite common, devices that are accurate on non-biased [level] wheels are rare, and require a far greater level of sophistication. Such devices are expected to be demonstrated at the conference.

To generate a prediction with most computers, typically a toe operated button is clicked when the wheel and ball complete a revolution. Once the timings of rotations are calculated, the computer can determine where the ball is most likely to fall, and will then relay where to bet to the player. In the case of the Eudemons, two operators were required – one took timings from the wheel, and wirelessly transmitted where the bet to another players that made the winning bets. The two operators appeared to have no connection. This way, the winner never needed to look at the wheel and was therefore not suspected of cheating. Similar methods are employed by roulette computers today, although the accuracy of predictions still rely on the operator taking accurate timings – namely clicking a button which is often a difficult task in the real casino environment over extended periods.

Although roulette computer application is clearly illegal in many jurisdictions, it is permitted by law in many others. That is not to say a casino would not eject suspected users of such devices. Although laws vary between jurisdictions, it is usually the right of the establishment to refuse entry to any player. Therefore successful application of electronic game prediction technology relies on covert technology.

Video for Roulette Demonstrates How to Win

Learning how to win at online roulette and casino gambling is not difficult, just ask Stefano Hourmouzis an Australian alternative energy researcher and roulette consultant who has developed and released a one hour video demonstration of what may very well be the world’s most effective roulette system and strategy.

Not only does Stefano demonstrate approximately a +350 unit profit over an hour, an exact number hit rate of 1 in 21 is achieved which is even better than some roulette computers. The demonstration has sparked interest amongst roulette enthusiasts and casinos alike, raising questions of how his results were achieved. One might look at the possibility of a wheel bias, but no bias is apparent and his betting pattern is not consistent of exploiting such a bias. Furthermore, the wheel utilized in his demonstrations is of a modern design and level without a common ball drop point, eliminating the possibility of a dealer signature being used. Stefano even demonstrates a clear recovery from a losing streak to prove it’s not just “luck.” Was some other trick used, or is this the real thing?

While roulette is considered by most to be a random and unpredictable game, experienced roulette players understand it is in fact not random. Roulette can and is already being beaten by a number of methods including visual ballistics, roulette computers, bias analysis, and a variety of little-known wheel analysis methods. These methods are finding success both amongst players of online roulette and casino gambling. Stefano claims to have taken the known effective techniques one step further, greatly enhancing their effectiveness. In addition, he claims his energy research has led to new knowledge of predicting roulette that very few others have discovered – namely several types of patterns currently completely undetectable by any casino’s pattern analysis software.

“Absolutely every wheel generates some kind of recursive pattern that can be relied upon to increase a player’s chance of winning,” Stefano says. “It is just a question of whether not a particular wheel’s patterns are sufficiently defined to overcome the house edge. While my roulette system involves all the traditional known-effective techniques such as visual ballistics and standard wheel analysis, the core of my system is very different, and something only an energy researcher is likely to understand. If it weren’t for my work in energy development, I wouldn’t have discovered the patterns. Absolutely nothing in this universe is “random” – it’s all cause and effect, and therefore nothing is without an element of predictability.”

Can millions be won with Stefano’s system? According to him, it has already been done. While Stefano manages teams of players worldwide, he also offers his system to the public.

Free Casino Chips and Honest Online Casinos

An understanding of the relevance of free casino chips must be put into its proper context: are the offers of the free chips coming from honest online casinos?

The first online casinos opened 10 years ago, and now there are hundreds that can be found online. Estimates vary as to the number of people who gamble online, but recent estimates suggest that a figure of around seven million worldwide would not be too far out. Taking that into account, and with a further estimate of more than $12 billion spent in online casinos alone (not including physical land-based casinos), offers of free casino chips may understandably be seen as something of a drop in the ocean.

Add to that the question of whether or not these free chips are being offered by honest online casinos, and we enter an area worth some study or serious research.

Firstly, let us consider what these free casino chips are really worth to the individual online casino player. Free casino chips are of four main types:

No Deposit Bonus. This is simply free money. Honest online casinos will offer free casino chips with no strings attached, simply to attract people to play at their virtual tables. There will sometimes be minor strings attached. For example, the casino may ask for credit card details up front. Always read the terms.

Matching Deposit Bonus. This is where the house will match your deposit. Often this is done in multiples. For example, a 200% bonus will mean that if you were to deposit $100 then the casino would add $200 in free casino chips to your account. Very nice! Especially useful for new players starting out.

Uncashable Bonus. This is the so-called ’sticky’ bonus. This can never be cashed, but its usefulness lies in that fact that it stays in your account and enables you to use the bonus account to ‘leverage’ higher wagers. These free casino chips stay latent in your account simply to allow you to do things which you otherwise could not.

Loyalty Bonus. This is exactly as it sounds. All honest online casinos, and offline ones too, want to keep hold of their good returning customers, and will offer loyalty bonuses, including free casino chips, as a result.

Remember that online casinos can afford to do this because they simply do not have the overhead that their brick and mortar land-based counterparts have. Equally, there is no excuse for an online casino NOT to be honest for exactly the same reason. They can offer free casino chips AND be an honest online casino in circumstances where their physical equivalents would find the financial burden impossible.

So how do we go about identifying which are the honest online casinos and which are not? Well, a lot has changed since the earliest online casinos set up shop in their offshore locations in 1996. Self-regulation (at best dubious) led to accreditation of bodies like ECOGRA (E-Commerce Online Gaming Regulation and Assurance). Look out also for evidence of good customer care, positive feedback from online casino forum members and decent helpline facilities. The more honest online casinos will offer (will actively boast) 24 hour live chat and live email support as well as toll-free telephone help. Does it have a mailing list you can join to keep in contact with the latest tournaments and special offers? Trust lies at the heart of any subscription process (or people would not subscribe) so that in itself is a good indicator of an honest online casino.

Transparency of accounting systems is another good indicator of honest online casinos. When testimonials are published make sure that it is from more than a set of initials, and make sure they have a state or country. Free casino chips may be ‘virtual’ in concept, but they are used by real people!

But the best indicator of an honest online casino is by personal recommendation. This also includes affiliation of such casinos into trusted casino websites and portals. If an offer of free casino chips is made by an online casino on such a site then it can probably be trusted.
