Law of Attraction for Sales People

Many people have experienced improvement in their life after they have watched the great DVD entitled “The Secret”. This DVD revealed what is believed to be the most powerful law in the universe - the Law of Attraction. The law of attraction has become one of the most popular topics today in the world of Personal Development.

The Law of Attraction simply says that you attract into your life whatever you focus your attention on. Your dominant thoughts will find a way to manifest them into reality. This implies that anything is within your field of possibility if you desire it strongly, believe in it, and take action towards it

It is critical for anyone who is applying this universal law to know how to use it to its full advantage. The law of attraction does not merely rely on the “Ask, Believe, and Receive” formula.

So “How Do You As Sales People Use This Law To Further Your Sales Career?”

1. Have A Giving Mindset.

The law of attraction states that you get back what you give out. When you go out to meet clients, focus on giving value-added service to them. Do not think that your objective is to close sale. In this way, you will send out a powerful positive energy that your client can sense which in turn influencing them to place business with you. Heard of the quote “Givers Get.”?

2. Know your unique selling points (USP)

Know your strength and weakness and focus on projecting your strength. Use what you are good at to differentiate from your peers. This quality of yours is what makes you unique. Do you know your USP?

Here’s the secret: make a list of what your clients have complimented you for. Did they tell you that you are cheerful, very reliable, friendly, easy to get along with, extremely knowledgeable, or comfortable to talk to? Ask them if they don’t tell you!
As you make the list and think about it, you will start to become aware that the reason why they do business with you is YOU.

Knowing your uniqueness bring confidence. The more you like yourself, the more you will send out a positive energy of gratitude, and appreciation. Again your client can immediately sense that reciprocate back the energy.

3. Getting Rid of Self Limiting Beliefs

It is your self limiting beliefs that pull you down. Disapproving your actual capabilities is the main culprit of mediocre performance. One effective way to overcome this is “Just Do It” and watch the result after that.

Have you ever think that you can never succeed in telemarketing? Why not reframe your mind that the person at the other end of the line is going to say Yes. And just pick up the phone and call? You will be fascinated to find that it is not difficult after all. The law of attraction says that focusing your mind will attract the intended result.

4. Create Positive Expectation Mindset

Create the mindset that your clients love to talk to you. Think of what they are going to benefit from your visit instead of wasting their time on listening to you.
Here’s the secret: always expect positive outcome from the clients. Expect that the client is going to benefit from what you have to offer. Send out the energy of excitement and enthusiasm. In the Law of Attraction, whatever you give out comes back to you many fold.

The law of attraction is so predicatable and dependable. Knowing how to unleash its full potential will transform your life for the benefit of your family!

Quote of the Day: “Earning money has to do with rendering service. And the more service you render, the more money you’re going to earn.”

The Goal Setting Blueprint

People often wonder what goal setting is and why should one do it? Goal setting is a vital process that helps the planner to know where he is going in his personal and professional life. Knowing exactly what one wants to achieve in life helps a person to move in right direction and ultimately succeed in his mission. Additionally, if a person is aware of his goals, he comes to know where exactly he needs to concentrate all effort. And more than anything else, the goals that are set accurately are incredibly motivating because they help to build self-confidence.

The biggest difference between a person who actively plans his goals and one who lets everything hang in thin air is excellence and mediocrity. The main reason for this is that when a person sets goals for accomplishing any task, there is a passion and a belief that drives that person to perfect his job, so that he can accomplish his goal successfully.

There have been numerous books, journals and articles that advocate the virtue of goal setting, but the main question that comes to mind is How do you set and accomplish goals? Fortunately there are some goal setting formulas and strategies that can be used to increase the chances of success towards goal setting and accomplishment.

This article will help you to first figure out a blueprint for success in goal setting. The blueprint consists of seven steps that will help you in chalking out your very own goals for any activity.

Step 1: It involves developing an intense desire to achieve the goals. Now the question is How to intensify desire? The best course of action to intensify desire would be to sit down and jot down on a notepad all the benefits and advantages that one could reap by achieving the goals. And if the list of benefits goes beyond 50, achieving the goal becomes the primary mission in the life of the goal setter.

Step 2: Write down all the goals, so that it becomes tangible because once the goals are written, the exercise becomes substantial and it etches itself into the subconscious of the planner.

Step 3: The next step is to identify-

A) The obstacles that stand in the way of your goal setting and accomplishment and overcoming them.
B) The help that is needed to procure knowledge, people and organization. For better identification, rewrite these points also clearly.

Step 4: Set a deadline for your goals. Every goal should have a deadline because an activity loses its value if it is accomplished after the target deadline. Therefore, always analyze your current position as against the goal finishing time that you set and measure how long it is going to take to finish the goals. Set the latest target deadline date accordingly.

Step 5: It involves combining step 3 and 4 and planning all the goals accordingly. Start by listing all the activities and then prioritize them. You can of course rewrite the list to perfect it.

Step 6: Once the goals are all set, make a mental picture of the goal already accomplished and turn it over in your mind again and again.

Are You True To Your Word

Do you act with integrity? Most people when confronted with this question will state firmly that YES, they have integrity. They don’t promise things they can’t deliver and their word is their bond.

But are you true to the promises you make to yourself?

Most people who fail in their business-building dreams are so busy keeping promises to others that they back burner the promise they made to themselves … the promise of more money, more time freedom and a better life. So why do we all do it?

There are a few reasons I’ve uncovered through coaching business associates. See if any of them resonate, and be honest with yourself.

1. I am too busy doing X, Y or Z. You can insert almost anything here. Many people keep themselves so busy doing what can only be described as busy work that they have no time to do anything else.

Here’s the reality: if you make your business a priority, everyone can find 1 hour a day or 10 hours a week to dedicate to a business. Sometimes being busy allows you to avoid doing the things you need to do to make your business profitable.

2. FEAR. While many people don’t admit to the fear, many are afraid of being ridiculed or criticised for their attempts to build a business or they are afraid of failing. Often, people will say they are “too busy to work at the business right now” but the reality is that they are afraid.

If you are in a business, or you are planning to start one, you need to make a promise to yourself (and show integrity in your dealing with that promise.) Promise to give it your all. To dedicate time to your business every day and not allow other commitments to infringe on your business building efforts.

Here’s a tip for keeping focused on your priorities. Every day, create a list of critical and trivial activities. The only things that go on your critical list are the top four things that will lead you to reaching your ultimate goal (of financial freedom). If you are in a business, it could be talking to 2 new prospects every day. You need to do the things on your critical list before anything on your trivial list. If the day ends and you haven’t done the trivial things, you can head to bed. If your day is done and you haven’t done the critical, better carve out a little more time.

Here’s another tip. Don’t turn on the TV or pick up a book until the critical list is complete.

Remember this list is not a to do list. It is a list of the things you need to do every day to get your business on the right foot and you are taking baby steps towards your ultimate goal.

Be true to your word, especially when you are making a promise to yourself and you will be more likely to be successful.

The Seven Steps to Faster Reading

When attempting to increase the speed at which you read, it is advisable to take the following steps.

1. You pre-read first. Before you begin to read anything you establish your purpose and then give a quick, searching scrutiny. If it is a magazine article, for example, you

A. Read the title and explanatory subheads.

B. Note the author’s name.

C. Look at illustrations and read captions.

D. Read any bold-face or italic material, lettered or numbered points, any boxes or graphs.

2. You read in phrases. The speed at which you read a line of type depends directly on the number of stops, or fixations, your eyes make. In a line of twelve words, if your eyes take in only a single word each time they stop they must make twelve fixations. (And some poor readers take in only part of a word at each fixation!). If you widen your recognition span to take in two words, the fixations are cut in half - to six. If your eyes can take in three words at each stop, the fixations are reduced to four! It is obvious that this is one of the first concerns of rapid reading. The more your eyes absorb in each fixation, the more you cut reading time.

3. You concentrate when you read. The greatest impediment to efficient and retentive reading is inattention. Your mind must be fully engaged. You must not let your thoughts wander while your eyes follow the lines of type. Unless you concentrate the eyes do not transmit clear images to the mind.

4. You practice drills of rapid reading. To attain speed you must constantly stretch your performance beyond what is a comfortable pace. To accomplish this goal you must widen your span of recognition. You must also quicken the perception rate at which the mind recognizes and accepts word images from the eyes.

5. You master skipping and skimming. These are skills which all Modern Readers use to get through material quickly. But there is a pattern to both. They are not hap-hazard movements of your eyes over a page of type. The technique is in learning how to skip and skim with confidence that you are missing nothing important.

6. You build your vocabulary. Rapid, efficient reading depends above all else on a wide vocabulary. You cannot read rapidly unless your mind recognizes instantly the images of words and phrases which your eyes transmit. If your vocabulary is limited you must work to build it.

7. You learn to pick your reading speed. You don’t drive your car at the same speed all the time. You are guided by the condition of the road, of traffic and the nature of your errand. In the same way, you don’t try to race through Shakespeare or an article on astro-physics. You change speeds and gear your pace to what you are reading.

The target is to adjust all your senses to complete involvement in the reading process. You must be alert, absorbed, in a mood to anticipate the author’s next words. Your attention must be fully engaged.

How Goal Setting Makes You Mentally Stronger

If you have a specific destination in mind, you can plan your route ahead of time and make your journey more enjoyable. It will also increase the probabilities of a successful outcome. If you can conceive something and you believe in it, then you can achieve it. If you want to do something nothing can stop you. There is no limit to the power of the human mind. The only limits you can experience will be self-imposed. You can test the limits of your mind power by willing success upon yourself everyday.

There are a number of people who do not do this, may be because at some point in their life they encountered some resistance and concluded that they were not meant to succeed and so they quit. They usually give up and settle for something less in life. Such people need to be reminded that one cannot be successful with little or no effort or no resistance. You will have to keep trying, if you want to achieve something in life. People who have been successful have encountered some resistance on the way, but they made it a point to preserve it and use it in building strength.

The irony of life is that you learn only when you struggle. Lessons learnt from failure will surely propel you on your way to eventual success. So never give up because you are facing difficulties. Set a goal and make a commitment that no matter what problems you would face, you will not give up or even give in. Try to learn as much as you can from your mistakes and make sure that you do not repeat them. You will eventually achieve your goal, despite making thousands of mistakes.

There are many people who keep working hard for creating a financial nest of security for their children, hoping that their life will be better than their own. It is again ironical, but many lessons that people learn in their struggle for building a successful life is lost on their children, as they endeavor to shield them from the same struggle that tempered them and made them strong. As a result their children never get to learn how to be as successful as their parents were. The human mind is just like rest of the muscles in the body. You need to expose it to resistance, if you want to make it strong.

If you set a goal, it will force you to challenge yourself. This will get you out of your comfort zone. You need to remember that you will grow on your own only when you are forced to stretch. Set goals that can challenge you beyond your limits. Always remember to keep the first signs of resistance with you whenever you set your goals.

Learn from struggle and failures and preserve them for good. In the end, the journey for you will be worth it, regardless of where you end up. Have a lot of determination and conduct self-analysis to overcome your fears and live your dreams. Setting of your goals can be the most effective way of achieving your fondest dreams. This might be ironical, but there are a lot of people who do not use this effective yet simple tool. Whenever you look at what you want, you need to believe that you will be able to achieve it and start working on it right away.

Turning Your Dreams Into Goals

Do you dream and are really interested in turning your dreams into reality? You can start by jotting down your dreams clearly. While writing, dont judge the dreams, you should just keep jotting down whatever comes to your mind. Remember the human mind can achieve whatever conceived!

An example to prove this fact would be the example of Dr Robert Schuler, who dreamt of building a Crystal Cathedral in Santa Ana, a place prone to earthquakes. In the 80s, he invited a famous architect to design the Cathedral for him. The architect after understanding the concept was very skeptical about building a glass structure in that area, as it would cost a fortune. Dr Schuler did not have the money to build it, but for him the word impossible never existed and finally, he did build the Crystal Cathedral.

Everyone can turn their dreams into goals, but for that you have to be outrageous and think big. You can achieve it, if you want it. A dream is an abstract goal and it is wonderful to have dreams. You can transform your dream into an achievable goal by simply clarifying it and providing the details, so as to make it clear to visualize. During the course of our lives struggles we forget our dreams and we fear pursuing them because we forget that nothing is impossible.

The main reason for this is that we have been programmed for mediocrity and refuse to believe that we are capable of a lot. To dare to do something new we have to come out of our comfort zone and that requires tremendous courage. We feel safe in doing things, which we already know, even if the situation is miserable.

If you visualize what you dream and stretch beyond the set boundaries, then you may be able to come out of your comfort zone. Imagination is the root of everything and the most powerful tool to succeed. Unless you imagine yourself being richer, happier and healthier, the chance of accomplishing a quality lifestyle is impossible. Your brain directs you to pursue the action only after it sees the results of your actions. We are blessed with imaginative powers during childhood, but in due course of life this imagination fades out.

We can dare to dream and achieve only if we practice and write down our visions. Regaining your imagination and picturing something is possible. Successful people who have dared to dream and who have achieved their goals had three things in common:

. They knew what they wanted and started pursuing their dreams, keeping the end result in mind.
. People who dared to be different and pursue their dreams were also people who believed in themselves.
. They pursued their dreams in spite of their fears, doubts and family apprehensions.

Always remember that dreams are yours and it is your life, so dare to go further and gain new experiences. Act now and move ahead and turn your dreams into your goals, as you can achieve anything in this world if your dare to dream and pursue.

Mental Motivation and Goal Setting For Effective Workout

It is an accepted fact that workouts keep one fit and healthy. But an effective exercise routine would be one, which would help the development of the mind and body. The performance can be maximized, by the use of proper motivation and goal setting methods. In psychological terms, motivation refers to initiation, direction, intensity and persistence of behavior. Motivation is a dynamic state of mind, the desire and willingness to do something. Incorporating these techniques in your workout regime can work wonders for both, your mind and body.

Sports psychologists have been successfully using these techniques, to maximize physical performance. This strategy can be used by anyone, depending on the fitness regime adopted. The focus for every effort and routine should be through mental preparation. Process oriented goal setting through visualization and relaxation and other mental techniques should be adopted.

Total concentration and mental focus can be achieved by association. It is a technique used in which a person totally drowns himself in the task being performed. While exercising, focusing attention on the movement of body parts and muscles is very beneficial. Such a technique is commonly used in martial arts, where coordination between body parts is increased dramatically. When a person decides to go with the flow, there is full, but relaxed concentration on every task. A person should immerse himself in the current activity with mind, body and soul. At such times, a person is totally free from all kinds of worries and concerns and thus, excellence is achieved.

Disassociation is another technique, where attention is diverted from the body part, as well as the task being performed. Thus, it is exactly opposite to association. This can be used when one gets bothered by constant repetition. Constant repetition of exercise causes discomfort, stress and also fatigue at times. But if the attention is maintained out of focus, the exercise can be performed for much longer time, which would no doubt benefit the body. Music and vocal suggestions can also be used to practice disassociation.

Different kinds of techniques can be applied at different times. Some can be applied at the start, some at the end and some during the workout. Visualization is one such technique, where one thinks good thoughts and pictures nice images. As there is a direct correlation between the mind and the body, the body will be affected in a positive way. This technique can be used before exercising, to feel motivated to exercise. When used during a workout, it makes you feel good about what you are doing and helps you focus on the benefits that it will bring you. After the work out, it can be used to connect to the inner self and visualize the purpose of the exercise, which is ultimately fulfilled and makes you feel calm and relaxed. The mind can be fed with anything, to develop confidence and self esteem.

Other techniques such as guided muscle and body relaxation using breathing techniques and simultaneously concentrating on the body parts can help overcome stress and enhance performance. Usually negative thinking leads to de-motivation and failure. Positive thinking is used to suppress negative thoughts and weaknesses and glorify strengths and also believing that you can do anything.

THE SECRET That The Secret Left Out

Recently, a remarkable film carrying a simple solution to any problem exploded onto the popular culture. It’s called The Secret.

I happen to be a true believer in the secret. Anyone is who has read Robert Collier, W. Clement Stone, Maxwell Maltz and any number of bright, successful men who have espoused this for 50 years and more. Unfortunately, some people delight primarily in a no-work interpretation of its message. Still others warm to the airy-fairy feeling of magic.

The core concept is that you ASK, you BELIEVE and you RECEIVE. Sounds okay, right?

But there is more. Even in the film, those interviewed state that they changed their behavior. Jack Canfield followed his feelings to create the book that made him nearly $100,000. Physicist John Hagelin discusses the principle of connection of matter and mind. The persuasive arguments are fascinating. Intoxicating. They equate a shift of mind as the difference.

It disappoints me to think that some people might be thinking thought is all. Changes in thoughts can move us to change our actions, which change the results of our focus. The secret of the secret is that it is necessary to absolutely clarify what we really want to happen. That alone moves most people beyond their comfort level and into other prospects and possibilities.

The secret is not a vacuous concentration on material gain but a sense of the possible manifested. Therein is the real magic from the necessary steps. It’s easier to find people who are negative and full of excuses than it is for us to manage others when we face such negativity because it can come from our children and our spouses and lovers and co-workers. People we see every day.

But they don’t quite recognize what is happening.

The secret itself is attractive. Everyone loves a secret and metaphysical solutions are very popular.

And there is a logical explanation for this. It is based on a formula:

Your Intention + Your Attention = Your Vital Purpose

This is about believing in you. W Clement Stone taught me to say to prospects, “Others have found this useful, and I believe this will interest you, too.” He explained the power of this phrase BELIEVE saying, “So few people believe in anything that when you do you stand out! It gets their attention.”

When you have a defined purpose and belief you are unstoppable. The secret merely adds that you must never ever permit your mind to question your goals.

The magic of the secret is a complete belief in the possibility that you hold in your mind. The possibility can be big and important, or it can be as specific as finding your dream job. The more clear and the more complete your belief the more you will recognize the little opportunities that bring the larger objective into focus.

My father once told a story about a man fixing his roof. After a time he lost his balance and started to slide down the roof, perilously close to the roofs edge. “God, help me,” pleaded the man. Just then the man’s trouser leg caught on a nail, adhering him to the roof. “Never mind,” said the man, “I’ve got it.”

We never achieve our goals alone. The attitude of gratitude comes in advance of getting the thing. When we act as if we had the thing already we fell it more, experience the state of having it. We are prepared. So when it comes it is immediately recognized.

Author John Alexandrov makes this point by breaking down the word attraction. When you separate it into it component parts the core is action that attract is a belief part requiring something to bring it into being.

Here is the lowdown on the Secret. Success is about you coming to terms with the potential inside. Everyone has that potential. Be courageous, follow the messages you receive, and take action on what comes next. That is how objectives are attained. Success begins in discovering the connection and the grace that occur when we openly embrace our future.

To transform dreams into reality, align your abilities with your opportunities.

Who’s the Boss? 10 Ways To Start Taking Control

At first glance, it would seem that positive thinking and Attention Deficit Disorder (ADD) have nothing to do with one another. But many of us with ADD develop negative thinking patterns because we become frustrated by our challenges and frequent feelings of being overwhelmed. This negative outlook then makes it even harder for us to manage those challenges and move forward.

Practicing positive thinking allows people with ADD to focus on our strengths and accomplishments, which increases happiness and motivation. This, in turn, allows us to spend more time making progress, and less time feeling down and stuck. The following tips provide practical suggestions that you can use to help you shift into more positive thinking patterns:

1. Take Good Care of Yourself
It’s much easier to be positive when you are eating well, exercising, and getting enough rest.

2. Remind Yourself of the Things You Are Grateful For
Stresses and challenges don’t seem quite as bad when you are constantly reminding yourself of the things that are right in life. Taking just 60 seconds a day to stop and appreciate the good things will make a huge difference.

3. Look for the Proof Instead of Making Assumptions
A fear of not being liked or accepted sometimes leads us to assume that we know what others are thinking, but our fears are usually not reality. If you have a fear that a friend or family member’s bad mood is due to something you did, or that your co-workers are secretly gossiping about you when you turn your back, speak up and ask them. Don’t waste time worrying that you did something wrong unless you have proof that there is something to worry about.

4. Refrain from Using Absolutes
Have you ever told a partner “You’re ALWAYS late!” or complained to a friend “You NEVER call me!”? Thinking and speaking in absolutes like ‘always’ and ‘never’ makes the situation seem worse than it is, and programs your brain into believing that certain people are incapable of delivering.

5. Detach From Negative Thoughts
Your thoughts can’t hold any power over you if you don’t judge them. If you notice yourself having a negative thought, detach from it, witness it, and don’t follow it.

6. Squash the “ANTs”
In his book “Change Your Brain, Change Your Life,” Dr. Daniel Amen talks about “ANTs” - Automatic Negative Thoughts. These are the bad thoughts that are usually reactionary, like “Those people are laughing, they must be talking about me,” or “The boss wants to see me? It must be bad!” When you notice these thoughts, realize that they are nothing more than ANTs and squash them!

7. Practice Lovin’, Touchin’ & Squeezin’ (Your Friends and Family)
You don’t have to be an expert to know the benefits of a good hug. Positive physical contact with friends, loved ones, and even pets, is an instant pick-me-up. One research study on this subject had a waitress touch some of her customers on the arm as she handed them their checks. She received higher tips from these customers than from the ones she didn’t touch!

8. Increase Your Social Activity
By increasing social activity, you decrease loneliness. Surround yourself with healthy, happy people, and their positive energy will affect you in a positive way!

9. Volunteer for an Organization, or Help another Person
Everyone feels good after helping. You can volunteer your time, your money, or your resources. The more positive energy you put out into the world, the more you will receive in return.

10. Use Pattern Interrupts to Combat Rumination
If you find yourself ruminating, a great way to stop it is to interrupt the pattern and force yourself to do something completely different. Rumination is like hyper-focus on something negative. It’s never productive, because it’s not rational or solution-oriented, it’s just excessive worry. Try changing your physical environment - go for a walk or sit outside. You could also call a friend, pick up a book, or turn on some music.

When it comes to the corporate world, protocol is pretty much the religion. To know the things needed to do are the basics of productivity, but interaction and having a steady mind makes up the entire thing to true productivity. There are those who seem to work well even under pressure, but they’re uncommon ones and we are human and imperfect. To get these little things like stress under our skins won’t solve our problems. Sometimes it takes a bit of courage to admit that we’re turning to be workaholics than tell ourselves that we’re not doing our best.

Do You Deserve What You Want?

If you’ve been affirming, visualizing and using manifesting techniques for years now and managed to manifest some of the things you’ve wanted, but still find that there are a few goals that you just can’t seem to manifest, why does it seem to work some of the time but not all of the time? Maybe you don’t deserve it!

I mean, truthfully, do you deserve what you want? Do you really deserve the dreams and goals that you’ve set your sights on?

Before you return with a scathing answer and get annoyed at my absurd presumptuous question, let me ask you another one. Did it annoy you at all to be asked, “Do you deserve happiness?” If it did, then I am sad to inform you that you have the non-deserving disease.

The non-deserving disease will slowly erode your belief in your ability to manifest. It will perpetuate the idea that you are the only one in the universe that can’t manifest what you want. It will poison your mind against your own unlimited potential. It will cause you to run in circles looking for the next latest and greatest self-growth technique, keep your therapist’s pockets nicely lined, and cause you to ignore your own successes.

Proper diagnosis of this disease is tricky because most of the time, although it may be quite obvious to others, we can’t see the symptoms. Or, more accurately, we CHOOSE not to see the symptoms.

For example, if I said to you, “You have the ugliest curly hair I’ve ever seen!” If you have curly hair - this might offend you. If, however, you don’t have curly hair then you’d dismiss my words as non-sense.

For curly hair owners, this may have triggered the thoughts you had as a child about NOT wanting curly hair, or reminded you of the embarrassment you felt when you were teased about your curls. Maybe you still have insecure thoughts as you wake up in the morning and look like my daughter, Ashlyn - who arises as the “wild-bed-head-girl” until we saturate her curls with the detangle spray! (I tell her she’s beautiful, by the way, and I love her wild-bed-head look!)

If you love your curls, you’ve never, ever wished for something different, or you have straight hair then my words do not trigger the non-deserving disease. However, if you find yourself reacting defensively to my words then somewhere in the subconscious folds of your being, you have the non-deserving disease.

Now, for those of you who feel left out, “You have the ugliest straight hair, I’ve ever seen!” Did I miss anyone? Oh, how about, “You have the ugliest bald head I’ve ever laid eyes on!”

We all have the disease on some level, don’t we? The issue becomes what we do with it that matters now. If you aren’t getting what you want in life, and you’ve been trying to manifest it then more than likely your self-esteem needs a boost in order to cure yourself of the non-deserving disease.

I met Jack Canfield, self-esteem expert and famed author of the Chicken Soup for the Soul Series, during the time when his first soup book was hitting the best sellers list. He inspired me to understand my feelings of deservingness as a self-esteem issue, and taught me a tool that I still use today.

He teaches the formula, “E+R=O (Event + Response = Outcome): It is not external events, but one’s responses (the R - which 9s changeable) that determine one’s level of success or failure, health or illness, fulfillment or frustration.”

For example, if you have wanted to attract a mate, and have used my 21-day program, or have been visualizing for months and months and haven’t attracted your partner yet, then ask yourself, “Do I deserve a mate? Do I deserve to be in a loving relationship with my Divine Life Partner?”

If you feel defensive about this question, then you know you need to dig deeper, and the more defensive you feel, the bigger the issue.

What judgments do you make about yourself that suggest you don’t deserve? Have you ever said, “Maybe, I’m not thin enough; maybe, I’m not fat enough; maybe, I’m not rich enough; maybe, I’m too picky; maybe, I’m not stable enough”?

What judgments do I make about myself that might be leading my sub-conscious mind to believe that I’m not worthy of what I want, or I do not deserve.

It’s not enough to just ignore the feelings of unworthiness. You must counter these beliefs with genuine high self-esteem and confidence. The more you believe in your own worth and that you truly deserve to have all that you desire, the easier it will be to intentionally manifest what you want in life.

Try these five steps to increase your self-esteem and treat the non-deserving disease.

1. Monitor your defensiveness.

If you feel defensive (about anything) then you are in that moment taking something personal. Taking something personal is a symptom of the non-deserving disease.

2. Make a decision to NOT take it personal.

The fourth agreement in Don Miguel Ruiz’s The Four Agreements is “Don’t Take Anything Personally.” This is a choice. Remember, it’s not the event that creates the outcome, but your response to that event. If you don’t take it personally, you are free to feel good about yourself as the fabulous human being that you really are.

3. Accept Your Humanness.

When you do take it personal, acknowledge the feelings of non-deservingness, the core limiting beliefs that you resist that continue to say, “I’m not worthy!” Then, let them be there. Acknowledge the fact that you are human and therefore, you will always be both worthy and unworthy and there’s nothing you can do about this. Then, hand your humanness over to Spirit. “God, you handle this issue!”

4. Increase Your Emotional Bank Account

Make deposits into your own emotional deservingness account. Tell yourself you are worthwhile, lovable, and beautiful and accept yourself exactly as you are. Do not wait for outside circumstances, or people to validate your worthiness. Make your own deposits and love yourself.

5. Meditate on the Divine Perfection of Life

One of the greatest symptoms of non-deservingness is making assumptions that what you’ve just received is NOT right. For example, if you want to attract a mate, and you meet someone who on the surface looks great but then turns out to be a dud. When you suffer from the non-deserving disease, you judge this event as wrong, out of order, not what you were wanting. This only perpetuates and continues to attract the opposite of what you want. However, if you continue to remember that you are always attracting what you want, and somehow this was perfect for your path, and now you are free to attract the next experience that is even more in alignment with your identified desires - then you eradicate the disease and proceed with the knowingness that all is well!

Increasing your self-esteem and ridding your life of the non-deserving disease is an inside job. It’s worth the effort because, in the end, what you will receive is the happiness that you truly desire and naturally deserve!
