7 Days to Become a Cut Above the Rest of the World
We all read the headlines. We all see celebrities as flawless people or at the very least we see them as better than us. They seem to live the fairytale life with riches and glamour.
I want the fairytale. I deserve the fairytale. How often do you say this to yourself?
I suppose we all should stop putting our heads in the clouds and come down to earth with a reality check. Who really wants their life told in the headlines of the local paper or a blog on the internet discussing their failed marriage or a failed movie?
Maybe just being a cut above the rest of the world would be good enough. Just enough better to gain some glamour but also to stay under the radar screen and not lose one’s sense of self.
So what does it take to be a cut above the rest? Here is a seven day program to self-improvement. Just concentrate on one point each day of the week and soon you will feel the results.
1. Know your purpose in life. Some people just are not meant to be great actors but are the best teaching or serving dinners. Everyone has a purpose in life but the difficult part is finding what that is. Are you wandering through life with little direction hoping you will find happiness and prosperity somewhere along the way? Identify your purpose or mission statement and you will find the compass that will point your way to real, true fulfillment.
2. Know your values. What is most important to you? Make a list of your top 5 values and, as you determine your goals for 2007, make sure they agree with your values in life. If they don’t, you may want to reconsider that goal or change it to better suit your ideals.
3. Know your needs. Take care of yourself. Unmet needs can cause you to live dishonestly. Be honest, do you need to be loved, in control, to be right all the time, or acknowledged? List your top 4 needs and get them met or deal with them before it’s too late. Many go through life depressed and stressed out because they are missing an essential need.
4. Know your passions. Find out what you truly enjoy in life and stick with it. Express your enthusiasm and also honor those that have helped you and inspired you on your journey to become the person you are.
5. Live from the inside out. Increase your awareness of your inner vision by regularly reflecting in silence or communing with nature. Breathe deeply to get rid of stress and quiet a distracted mind. Often, just sitting in a dimly lit room and listening to classical music will work the same.
6. Honor your strengths. What are your strengths? If you do not know ask someone close to you for answers. Pick out three positive traits that you possess and share them with others. You will be amazed how much self-confidence you will gain by just by expressing your authentic self through your strengths.
7. Serve others. Give back to the world. When you live authentically and honestly you may find you develop an interconnected sense of being. There is no greater reward or satisfaction then sharing your talents with the world.
There you have it; a weekly guide to achieving becoming a person who is a cut above the rest. All it takes to succeed is to truly want self-improvement and then honestly look at yourself through the eyes of others.

Nine Characteristics of Living Your Life On Purpose
Enthusiasm is passion. Enthusiasm is living your dream. Enthusiasm is a divine energy you will feel as a reward for pursuing your dreams and staying on your own path.
Someone who is earnestly looking for his mission, who discovers it and lives it, will organize his entire life around this divine assignment. This person offers his talents to the world, betters his environment, adds his personal value to it, and ends up happy and satisfied. The characteristics below help you recognize this person or become one yourself :
1. Enthusiasm is the most obvious feature. This person lives life fully, enjoys every moment, and lives in the present, radiating a lot of self-confidence. He knows he is a valid part of the universe and feels appreciated and guided.
2. This person possesses a special driving force that guides him through the roadblocks. He has access to an endless source of energy that lifts him above the masses. His energy level is much higher than average. People can notice he is being lifted up by a kind of light beam. He is very engaged, travels lightly and makes a delicate impression. He is convinced that any roadblocks can be overcome. Nothing stops him.
3. This person easily makes choices. There is something guiding the course of his life, namely his mission, which he uses as a road map to find out where to go next and with whom. He can tell good company from bad company, unimportant matters from important matters. He does not lose himself in irrelevant details but remains focused on his mission. He is guided by his inner voice, his intuition.
4. He dares to take risks. He has the courage to finish the projects he started. He has the energy and wisdom to concretely manifest his ideas.
5. He possesses an extraordinary creativity, inspiring the people around him. He has the ability to create and produce. He is capable of manifesting his thoughts: what is an idea today will become real within a few months or even earlier. He makes full use of his resources. He fully realizes his psychological and spiritual potential.
6. This person has a mysterious charisma. People like to be near him, enjoy his high energy level and feel invigorated afterwards. People pick up some wisdom from him and feel better after meeting him.
7. He has an unwavering faith in the universe and in himself, as he too is part of this universe. He is aware of spiritual law and lives according to them, consciously or unconsciously. He understands how his dreams and passions are the engine of his evolution and he knows the universe is organized such that it meets his needs. First and foremost he listens to his heart and follows its directions with faith and conviction.
8. This person exhibits a high level of dedication, gets fully engaged, and knows the universe to be his biggest and best partner. He has a clear vision of his goal, does not get distracted, and uses his energy entirely towards the manifestation of his dreams. When he experiences fear, it does not paralyze him, but doubles his devotion. He knows fear is something you have to go through, and for this he can count on his inner strength and guidance.
9. He is original in his approach and experiences total freedom while fulfilling his mission. He is aware of the fact that he is the co-creator of his life. He is not being lived, not warming the bench, not being afraid of what is going to hit him next. On the contrary, he reflects about his future and takes all necessary action to effectively realize his desired future.
Someone who has found his mission and takes it to heart is someone who has deciphered the secret code of the soul. And he receives the corresponding gifts: a great deal of enthusiasm, an extraordinary creativity and deep satisfaction. He accepts these gifts gracefully and gratefully, and generously offers them to other people who cross his path. He is a shining light in the life of those who are so happy to have met him.

How Getting To Know Yourself Can Change Your Life
Getting to know yourself is vital to your personal growth. By taking some time out to understand yourself, you open doors that will ultimately help you be a better and more respected person. It may sound strange to some people how could you not know yourself. After all, you have been around for many years, apparently being yourself?
The problem is in today’s society, we are often so busy being someone’s mother, father, son, daughter or even employee and living up to those expectations that we lose track of who we really are inside and what makes us happy as an individual.
Why It Is Important To Know Yourself
It is said in the bible, the oldest book known to man, that we must first learn how to love ourselves before we can love others. To love ourselves, we must know what makes us happy, what our faults are and what our strengths are. All of these things must be accepted as being a part of who we are. If we can’t accept all of the things that make us an individual, we are unable to love and accept our fellow man and live a happy and peaceful life.
As a child, you loved unconditionally, but you also accepted others as well as yourself without question. It is this child-like approach to yourself and others that is the key to getting to know yourself. Understand that you are the way that you are because of your life’s experiences. Accept that your life has made you the way that you are. But that doesn’t mean that you are powerless to change your life for the better.
Look for your good points, consider the bad points, but accept that you cannot change who you are. But you can change the things in your life that make you unhappy. If you can do this, you will be better equipped to love, learn and care for others whether they are your spouse, children, family, friends or even your fellow man.
Steps To Take To Get To Know Yourself Better
The first step that you will need to take in the journey of getting to know yourself better is to have some time on your own. Choose a place that is peaceful, whether it is late at night when everyone has gone to bed or whether it is outside on the beach. It really doesn’t matter where you go as long as you find a quiet place where you can reflect on your life without being interrupted.
Sit quietly for a while and try to hush the chatter in your mind, you know that little voice telling you to remember the trash needs to be taken out tonight and the kids need to be picked up from practice. Push everything, out of your mind and sit there quietly for a while.
Tell yourself that your current reality is no longer what you want and you are no longer happy with the way your reality is manifesting in your life. You need a change and visualize those changes occurring in your life. Ask yourself what is making you unhappy? What no longer works in your life? See what needs to be changed and then visualize these changes exactly as you would like to see them happen in your life.
Visualization is a very powerful tool that will allow you to make the changes you so desperately need in your life, as well as understand more about the things that you have forgotten were important to you. By visualizing things in your mind, you are planting seeds of change. These seeds then sprout into your logical way of thinking and you begin to make moves toward change without really noticing it.
Opportunities are around us everywhere, although many of us don’t see them, simply because we do not see them for what they are. By using visualization in your life to point you towards new opportunities, you are opening up your mind. Making opportunities seemingly fall into your lap.
Conclusion
Getting to know yourself better and learning to open new doors to bring you closer to your goals is easily achievable. But to reach this stage, you must first be able to accept yourself, warts and all. Have the courage to change the things that you are able to change to make you a better person. But the things that you are unable to change must be recognized, then accepted before you can make changes to your life for the better.
Use visualization as your main tool. See the things in your life that you want to change and visualize how they will affect your life for the better. Then visualize your life once these changes have occurred. By doing this, you have planted the seeds of change that will blossom into an array of new opportunities. Be your own best friend and you will never have a shortage of admirers.

Are You Attractive?
What do you do when you want to be attractive to others? Do you buy new clothes, new cosmetics, or new gifts to give away? Do you try to tell people what they want to hear? Do you bend over backwards to be nice to them?
Do you wonder why some people easily attract friends, relationships and customers, while others rarely seem to be successful in their quests?
If you think carefully about the people who are attractive to you, you will probably notice that what makes them attractive is a combination of who they are and how they act.
Attractive people are usually fully alive and present when you are with them. They are able to be there for you because they take excellent care of themselves.
Attraction is an inside job. The late Thomas Leonard suggested that having a strong personal foundation is critical to becoming attractive to others. There are many ways to create the foundation you need to easily and gracefully live in the precious present moment. Here are a few of them.
1. Be complete. There are many things we all could have, should have, or would have done if circumstances were different. Complete the things you are worried about, if you can, or decide to not complete them and stop worrying. Forgive yourself and move on.
2. Arrange your life so you easily get those things you need the most. If you don’t, you may let depression and anger drain your energy, costing you your attractiveness.
3. Operate from integrity. Eliminate doing the things you know are not good for you.
4. Learn to protect yourself from the unhealthy or damaging behavior of others. Create a zone of safety in your life where you can relax and feel secure.
5. Raise your personal standards. You are an important person. When you treat yourself that way, others will do likewise.
6. Stop tolerating the things that annoy you. If you are not getting good service, ask for what you really want, or go elsewhere.
7. Decide what you value most, and choose to do the things that support those values.
8. Strengthen your relationships with your family and your community.
Every one of these items is a challenge. As my clients and I work on developing skills in each of these areas, we recognize that time and attention to many small details are the building blocks that lead to success.

The Nine Environments of Millionaires
At the beginning of the call, I heard Jim Bunch mentioning the most important point that will stick in my mind for a very long time.
“Surround yourself with the best of the best and you’ll produce the results of the best of the best.”
If you are into personal development, I believe that there is nothing new in that statement. However, Jim continued by saying that your “will power” is on only when you turn it on, but environments will stick with you 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.
If you managed to be in millionaire environments every second of your life, wouldn’t it make sense that you’ll stay millionaire or become a millionaire one day?
That clicked and made me want to know more about the environments Jim was referring to. In this article, I will briefly mention what the 9 environments of millionaires are as discussed by Jim Bunch.
1. Memetic Environment
Beliefs, ideas, knowledge and concepts are examples of memetic environment. They are intangible and very important because it starts with you believing that you can get what you want in life. You might ask “how to change your belief”. The answer is to change what you do and the result will change too. As soon as you see the results, you begin to believe. Think like a millionaire.
2. Relationships Environment
Family, friends, colleague and support personnel are in the “relationship environment”. This environment controls your behavior that causes you to think, act and feel in a certain way. As hard as it can be, sometimes you have to let go off some relationships in your life because they are not bringing in closer to your goals in life. Build a millionaire relationship with those who will always push you closer to your dreams and goals.
3. Network Environment
It is simply a community that you are in. This community has rules, values and beliefs on its own. You have to be extremely selective in choosing your network. Remember that millionaires network with millionaires. To identify if you are in the right network, identify the topics of your conversations when you are in your community. Do you talk about creating wealth, being a better husband or wife or simply the weather?
4. Financial Environment
This is the environment that causes people most stress. The problem with financial environment is that when you grew up, nobody seemed to talk about money. Soon you’ll realize that you have to manage your own money, investments and insurance, and you don’t know all of them certainly, especially once your wealth grows. This is the time when millionaires hire and surround themselves with specialists and mentors on finance. Millionaires have their own wealth team.
5. Physical Environment
Physical Environment revolves everything around you such as home, office and furnishings. Confused mind creates chaos and that’s what happens if your physical environment is not taken care of.
6. Nature Environment
Human beings require energy and you’ll feel a powerful energy from nature when you’re close to it. Have a jog in a gym and along a sandy beautiful beach and you’ll know the difference what nature environment brings you.
7. Body Environment
Most people are ignorant about their body environment. You have to treat your body like a temple, not a playground. That means you have to take care of your health because there is no point of having wealth without health. Health will suck the wealth out of your life.
8. Self Environment
Personality, personal gifts, talents and emotions belong to the self environment. You can’t see, smell or touch your self environment but you maybe able to identify them and make full use of your ultimate strengths. Use your self environment to match up with the world outside.
9. Spiritual Environment
It is your connection to higher source, love and self. If you are not in the habit of doing it, you’ll have to put yourself in the spiritual environment again. Change all your environments and you start to change your thinking.
Another important point is that you have to develop your own mastermind group so that you are always focus on your environments. Take seriously the 9 environments of millionaires above in the next 90 days. You will feel the difference in your life.
